    Friday, October 27th, 2017

Race 1:  ROYAL HOLIDAY (1) competes with blinkers off for his third lifetime start and bred well to enjoy the dirt plus he’s training well over in the a.m.  PUERTORICAN STYLE (7) may improve with a drop in class and trainer/jockey combination has been hot.  OUT OF HYDEING (5) gave an honest effort on debut and may move forward at second asking.

    Picks 1-7-5

Race 2:  BUTTER UP KATIE (4) ran a closed second in the her latest and she has good form on the dirt in the past while barn is overdue for a victory.  LIL MISS BLUE EYES (2) should be headed in the right direction in her second start over the track.  ETTALUSIVE (6) returns off the brief freshening and has several finished in the money.

    Picks 4-2-6

Race 3:  LUCKY LOTTO (4) has backclass and some tactical speed as he makes his second start over the track.  MAGIC COMMAND (3) runs fresh and has early speed to go along way.  SPIRIT GRABBER (7) exits a troubled trip and jockey Lanerie in the irons this time around.

    Picks 4-3-7

Race 4:  SIR BALLANTINE (3) gets a better draw to move forward in his second start off the break with good works for a hot barn.  THIRSTFORLIFE (1) will be tough after a sharp performance in his latest for top notch connections.  WHOLE LOTTA LUCK (2) is a strong runner at the distance and was claimed two starts back while he was bothered at the start in his last outing.

    Picks 3-1-2

Race 5:  DADDY IS A LEGEND (5) ran second behind RUSHING FALL who came back and won the G3 Jessamine Stakes.  VEVINA (7) runs for a high percentage barn with first time starters and sharp turf outfit with a steady workout pattern to be ready on debut.  SALTY SCATT (11) should only move forward today as he competes at the same level with first time Lasix and blinkers on for competitive stable.

    Picks 5-7-11

Race 6: HUNKA BURNING LOVE (2) may have not cared for the slop and was in trouble early to throw out in his latest and likely to improve over a fast track today.   WHATEVERYBODYWANTS (8) just missed from off the pace after dealing with traffic last out and the one to beat with a clean trip today.  FORTY ACRES (6) expected to perform better over a fast track and the 3yo has two wins at Keeneland at 10-1 odds.

    Picks 2-8-6

Race 7:  SIX SCHILLLINGS (2) tries hard every time with a brief freshening and solid works to give a second look at 6-1 odds.  DOUGLAS ROAD (6) is sharp on the grass going long and adds the hood today.  ONE LAST STRIKE (9) faces winners off an impressive win for winning connections.

    Picks 2-6-9

Race 8:  CLEARWATER (9) displayed talent on the Tapeta and should like the turn back in distance.  PROMISSORY NOTE (4) has a bullet work on the track and barn wins at 19% with debut runners.  BOOTSY’S HADENOUGH (1) was well bet on debut as he makes his second start lifetime start and same rider aboard.  He seems to be training well at 6-1 odds.

    Picks 9-4-1

Race 9:  PROUD REUNION (3) steps down in class after a dull effort on the rail in the G3 Commonwealth last out and should be tough from the early pace for a sharp outfit.  BURMA ROAD (9) appears to be knocking at the door to celebrate a victory at this level and should like the turn back in distance.  He’s the one to beat in today’s feature.  PRINCESS PRINCESS (4) raced evenly last out and loves this turf course while he competes in his third start off the layoff.

    Picks 3-9-4

Race 10:  SALES CALL (4) is training sharply for a better effort at the same level for honest connections and should be forwardly placed from the gate.  LADY CLEOPATRA (5) catches a soft field to move forward but make sure the price is right on this NW2L filly.  TWILIGHT APPEAL (8) exits an improved effort and gets a capable bug rider in the irons.

    Picks 4-5-8
