Friday 4/26 analysis
Race 1: Ultimate Temper (3) drops in class and ran decently here last fall. That's enough to get the call in this spot. EXACTA BOX: 3-1-5
Race 2: No Nay Never (3) is trained by Wesley Ward and Rosario takes the mount--a hard to combo to beat in this race. Laddie Boy (5) has some good works and Solitary Ranger (6) ran well here already. EXACTA BOX: 3-5-6
Race 3: Live in Joy and Let's Do It (2/2B) are both strong contenders from the Ramsey stable. Ghostwalking (6) has run well here and Haunted (5) has, too. EXACTA BOX: 2-5-6
Race 4: Forecon (7) caught up a tough field in his race here earlier in this meet and should have a fitness edge, coming off two mile-and-an-eighth races. Paroled (12) comes out of the same race and could win, too. Tapit Express (3) has worked well. EXACTA BOX: 7-12-3
Race 5: Ghost Is Clear (8) takes a big class drop and gets Rosario in the saddle. I'm betting the higher-regarded speed types on the inside will flame out and this guy will pick them up in the stretch run. EXACTA BOX: 8-3-4
Race 6: Credit Crunch (5) loves this track and I think his race last week was a distance short of his best. On the stretchout, he could get home first at a nice price. Blues and Silvers (10) is definitely the one to beat and Megnog has run well already. EXACTA BOXES: 5-10, 5-9
Race 7: Sarava's Dancer (6) ran well off a layoff and could improve. I also like the upgrade in riders. Rapacious (11) is the one to beat but not sure if this one can overcome the outside post. EXACTA BOX: 6-11-8
Race 8: Frivilous (11) ran well in the first start over this track and Empire Maker offspring loves this polytrack. Silver Frame (7) is worth a strong look in the turnback from a longer distance. Color Harmony (6) has worked well but Lopresti's first-timers rarely win their debuts. EXACTA BOX: 11-7-6
Race 9: Forte Dei Marmi (10) ran big here last year so we know he likes the track. Trainer Roger Attfield told us in an interview for Keeneland's You Tube channel that his horse like softer ground so the rain earlier this week could improve his chances. Ioya Bigtime (8) excels at these marathon distances and Sky Blazer (1) may just be better at this longer distance. EXACTA BOX: 10-8-1
Race 10: Tuscan Treasure (8) drops in class and ran well against better here on opening weekend. EXACTA BOX: 8-7-10
BEST EXACTA RACE: 4th
