Race 1: DISTORTED TYPE (2) competes at the lowest level of her career with a recent bullet work to be tough to beat, but no value with this one. BAETYKATY (3) has some early gas to be awfully tough in this spot. A GALA DAY (5) is a late runner going short that may like the further distance today.
Race 2: ALBERT CHARLES (9) rallied late against similar going short and may appreciate the added distance. COOKIES ARE GOOD (7) ran well at the distance on the turf last time and hopes he performs better back on the dirt. WISE OLD OWL (4) has a good series of work to be plenty fit at first asking, but make sure the price is right.
Race 3: IRONCLAD (6) leads into this race off a win with solid dirt form to be a major player. LAYTHATPISTOLDOWN (4) runs his best effort over softer footing, but appears to the one to beat at short odds. WINKATDAWAT (5) should like the turn back in distance after he flashed early speed in his latest.
Race 4: HEAVENLY DAZE (5) ran very well at this level last time out and sharp work since to be a top candidate at 4-1 odds. BIRD STREET (3) may like the shorter distance with blinkers on, but needs to do more so tread lightly. PRETTY GREELEY (8) hopes to run well fresh off a long break at a lower level.
Race 5: TEQUILITA (11) ran second best behind DANCING RAGS, who came back to win the G1 Alcibiades at KEE and should like the slight turn back distance. MAKE AMENDS (7) exits a super competitive maiden allowance in which several horses came back to win their next start and draws a better post to improve in this spot. TOBY GIRL (8) last four works look promising to be a contender from a high percentage first time out barn.
Race 6: NAIFAH (5) ran decent in her first start in the U.S. and should more forward for a top turf outfit. LA MANTA GRIS (4) stalked early on debut and could perform better this time around. TAMIT (7) is bred well to handle this scenario for a 14% barn with first time starters.
Race 7: FLASH TRADING (6) appears to be the most consistent of this bunch with a solid local record. SEEKING BLAME (2) steps down in class for his second start off the break and a win at the distance. GETTSBURG (9) has faced nice company at the stakes level and with a brief freshening and added equipment at the allowance level may be all she needs.
Race 8: TALE OF LIFE (4) could be the controlling speed of this race and already 1/1 at KEE. HESINFRONT (7) leads into this race at the top of his game and barn wins at 20% first off the claim. CATHOLIC COWBOY (8) vastly drops in class after a sixth place effort in the G1 Woodward and distance suits him well.
Race 9: The Grade II Lexus Raven Run Stakes
BELLAMENTARY (6) hopes to make a splash in the Midwest like she does on the West coast, which she ran second to multiple graded stakeswinner SONGBIRD two starts back and she’s a distance specialist at 7 furlongs. SOPHIA’S SONG (10) has a sharp workout over the track and runs with blinkers off for the Pletcher stable to make her tough to beat at 5-1 odds. LIGHTSTREAM (12) is the class of the race, but she draws the outermost post so hopefully her tactical speed helps her prove she is the best.
Race 10: LAMONTAGNE (8) has been tough on the grass going short at several venues to be a top contender in this spot. CASUAL COCKTAIL (3) will be a prime suspect if she likes the move to the softer footing. ORIENT HARBOR (1) will try to make a late run to catch these for a top barn.
