Katie Mikolay Gensler's first exposure to racing came at a young age, attending Arlington Park with her family on weekends where she grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She has been a racing analyst for the last nine years and has worked at multiple racetracks across the country. She also has made special appearances on TVG Network, Fox Sports and NBC Sports. Katie has been a Paddock analyst for Keeneland since the 2013 Spring Meet. She’s also a weekly video blogger on KeenelandSelect.com. As an advocate for fan education, Katie has teamed up with Horse Player Now to teach Horse Racing 101 and wagering to increase horse racing awareness.

Race 1: SOIL (5) ran a distant second behind a runaway winner on debut at 5-1 odds. The 4yo filly deserves another chance in soft maiden claiming event. STORMFIELD (6) exits the best performance of the field, but moves back the dirt. JEMROSE (3) drops in class once again and hopes for a solid trip with a new rider aboard.
Race 2: ULTIMA D (8) has a good series of works from the hot 2yo barn to be something special in this spot. CLASSY MUSIC (5) has a fast most recent drill to be sharp and ready. ANNA KATE (4) has some intriguing works to be considered at decent odds.
Race 3: PUCA (2) has been performing well especially her most recent race, which she ran fourth with the best speed figure in the field since her long layoff and should be a major player today. SASSY LITTLE LILA (5) is full of early speed and very consistent to dismiss from this race. SHAAN (3) has two solid efforts in the states and nice draw for another solid race back on the grass.
Race 4: TRUE DREAM (9) has fast works with a sharp gate rider aboard. SHE STAYS ROLLIN (5) is another 2yo trainee that tough to leave out of the mix. TIZ B B N (2) has some intriguing workouts to be a player on debut.
Race 5: ANCIENT WARFARE (8) exits a late running second with a wide trip and should be plenty of early pace to come flying again for the Casse barn. KISS THE TOAD (11) has two solid efforts at the distance on the grass in recent months. KEEP TALKING (5) training well and wears blinkers for a peak effort third start off the break.
Race 6: ONE RIVER PLACE (7) has good works to be a serious candidate on debut for a 26% trainer with debut runners. FACTION CAT (3) needs to get it done with several close finishes in eight starts. NORTHERN (5) ran second behind PRACTICAL JOKE and working well for a comeback performance.
Race 7: CONQUEST BABAYAGA (2) tries to snatch another win at a further distance for a competitive turf outfit. QUEENOFTHEPALACE (9) has displayed plenty of talent to fit well in this group. QUEEN CAROLINE (11) loves the grass and loves the distance to be a major player.
Race 8: CIRCLE UNBROKEN (4) makes his second start off a long layoff and should set up well to be a major stretch threat. PABLO DEL MONTE (2) has backclass and enjoys this course. RAY’SWARRIOR (5) leads into this race in top form, but may have company on the frontend.
Race 9: KAHRUMANA (9) just missed at first asking and the one to beat with any kind of improvement. POUNDS TO PENNIES (7) ran well with an outside draw and another contender if she improves. BOURGEOIS (10) tries two turns on the grass for top connections.
