THURSDAY, October 20
Race 1: (6) Demarlboro drops from the straight maiden ranks and the turf-to-dirt move is a strong angle for trainer Phil Sims. Exacta boxes 6-7, 6-8, 6-2
Race 2: (6) Sea Light is 1-for-1 at Keeneland and with the drop in class, the bet is that he'll get to the winner's circle here. Exacta boxes 6-7, 6-4
Race 3: (7) Personal Diary has run well on this turf course and with the big drop in class in this spot, she can get the job done but there's no standout here. Exacta box of 7-6-8-2-5
Race 4: (3) Annoy has the speed required to do well this fall in dirt sprints here and he has a good record at Keeneland. Exacta boxes 3-5, 3-4, 3-2
Race 5: (8) She's a Ten goes turf-to-dirt and that's a strong angle for the Catalano barn. The good local works are a plus, too. Exacta boxes 8-7, 8-3, 8-4
Race 6: (5) Thirtydaysinjune drops out of strong races and this one was a pricey purchase at a two-year old sale. Add in the Mott-on-the-turf numbers and that makes this one the pick. Exacta boxes 5-1, 5-6, 5-8, 5-9
Race 7: (6) Holiday Bonus drops in class and the blinkers come off, a 25 percent win rate for the Motion barn. Exacta boxes 6-2, 6-3, 6-8
Race 8: (13) Street Fashion comes off a career-best Beyer figure and given Motion's success in these marathons at Keeneland, this lesser-regarded part of the entry can get the job done. Still, he's not a standout so the gimmick play is a five-horse exacta box 13-3-1-5-8
Race 9: (3) Bethel Wildcat is working lights out and could provide a strong finish to a big day for the Motion stable. (11) Muzzy on the Move is another first-timer to watch. Exacta part-wheel 3,11 with 3,11,7,12,5
Late Pick 4 (starts in race 6): 5,1,6,8 with 6,2 with 13,3,1,5,8 with 3,11
Pick 6: (starts in race 4): 3,5 with 8,7,3,4 with 5,6,1 with 6 with 13,3,1 with 3,11
