    WEDNESDAY, April 19

Race 1:  Nuclear Option (5) is the pick here for the Ward-Ramsey combo.    Breakin Daylight and Ten City offer strong connections, too, so a three-horse box is the best play here.  Exacta box of 5-1-6

Race 2:   Lotto Cat (7) really took a big jump up the Beyer figure scale last time and these hard-knocking claimers often stay in good form for several races so this one gets the call here.  Use him with Turn to Include, Carouse and Crooked as Can Be.  Exacta boxes 7-8, 7-9, 7-6

Race 3:   No Fault (3) finished ahead of the favorite last time and yet probably won't get bet that heavily here because the jock is winless at the meet.  Forevermore is dangerous off  the pedigree so use both of those in a four-horse box with Fuerza and Qualkris.  Exacta box of 3-1-4-5

Race 4:   going with Amberspatriot (9) here off the jock selection, as the trainer goes for a rider with a knack for getting his mounts out of the gate quickly.  Key that one with Vital and Orbatron.  Exacta boxes 9-7, 9-3

Race 5:    Heartspoke (9) ran well at Saratoga last summer and the trainer has a good record off the layoff.  Key this one in exactas with Spellker, Flatter Up and Marina's Legacy.  Exacta boxes 9-3, 9-7, 9-4

Race 6:   Kirby's Penny (1) jumped up to an 84 Beyer last time in the dirt debut, on this track, and I'm betting we'll see something as good or better here on the stretchout for a good post.  Princess Drossie is dangerous and I'll also use Dee Dee Bertie, Audrey's Double and Gurlin.  Exacta boxes 1-2, 1-5, 1-6, 1-3

Race 7:   Surgical Strike (7) kept classy company last year and we often see horses win off layoffs in these tough turf allowances in the spring.   He also ran well here and he's working well.  Key Surgical Stirke in exactas with Turbo Street, Special Ops and the Casse duo of Conquest Typhoon and Brass Compass.  No standout here so goes as deep as you can in multi-race wagers.  Exacta boxes 7-6, 7-8, 7-12, 7-4

Race 8:  Fat Daddy (8) drops from straight maiden company and that class change often produces winners at this class.  Proudly High makes the same move so take a look at that one.  Shystermesiter and Swordfish are others to consider.   Exacta box of 8-2-4-9

Pick 4 (starts in race 5):  9,7,3,4 with 1 with ALL with 8,2
