st Race: KINGS WISH (#5) was never in contention but rallied a bit to take third in a race her on opening day. He drops in class and could run much better today. SANTA AMERICANA (#7) has been off since July, but trainer Merrill Scherer has good numbers with runners coming off layoffs and this one looks dangerous. LEVANTO (#6) is a contender.

nd Race: WABEL (#3) will be running late in a race loaded with early speed. Give him the edge in a well-matched claimer. BLUE WINGS (#5) likes to run on the front end but won from just off the pace under Leparoux last year and is the one to beat. ROYAL ASSET (#1) gets in light.

rd Race: EXCITATIONS (#1) didn't fire in the Gallant Bob (G3) but ran well to finish second in the Grade 2 Amsterdam in his prior start. He won over the Keeneland track in April and looks best for trainer Al Stall Jr. with Miguel Mena aboard. PETROV (#3) beat the top pick last out. He is also graded stakes-placed and figures to be tough to beat. SHADOW TRACER (#4) could run well at a price.

th Race: CARD CLUB (#3) drops a notch in class and has the speed to be on or near the lead for trainer D. Wayne Lukas. Give her the edge with Jon Court picking up the mount. KANTASTIC (#4) will be tough to beat if she handles the move to the dirt. DRINKS ON ME (#7) debuts for trainer Mike Maker and is a contender.

th Race: WHITE GOLD (#1) drops in for a tag for the first time and figures to be on or near the lead from the inside post. Give her the slight edge with Dean Sarvis back aboard for trainer Dane Kobiske. AUDACIOUS ANGEL (#3) also takes the class drop and will be a factor. STETSON GOLD (#7) is lightly raced and could improve.

th Race: MISSISSIPPI (#7) is a well-bred Oxley purchase who debuts for Mark Casse off a series of solid works, including a bullet (best of 123) on Oct. 7. He figures to be ready to go today. SIR SAHIB (#2) exits a very tough maiden race at Churchill where the top two came right back to win next out. He will be running at the end and looks like the main competition. ZING ZANG (#1) makes his first start for trainer Steve Asmussen who has been hot recently.

th Race: LIGHT UP OUR WORLD (#1) is winless since coming to the U.S. but has been hooking much better company and drops in against allowance runners this afternoon. A good trip from the inside post would make her a winner in here. BROOKS HOUSE (#2) will be running at the end and owns a win over the Keeneland turf. Her best makes her dangerous. FIZZY FRIDAY (#10) is a definite contender.

th Race: BELVIN (#9) will be running at the end in a race that figures to have a fast pace. He shouldn't mind the move back to the dirt and looks best in the finale. ACADEMY BAY (#5) has won four of her last six starts and just missed last out. She will be rallying from just off the pace and is the one to beat. JACK TRIPP (#2) is a contender.
