    SATURDAY, April 15

Race 1:   Insurgent (2) has speed on the inside and could be hard to run down in the second start off a layoff.  Take Your Guns and Combat Controller are the ones to use in exactas.  Exacta boxes 2-1, 2-4

Race 2:   Alittlevodka (3) drops out of allowance company and the speed on the inside may enable this one to upset Swift One here.  No Phone Joe and Heliodoro are others to consider.  Exacta boxes 3-9, 3-7, 3-2

Race 3:   Take Charge Niki (6) is much improved this  year and caught some tough fields in those races at the Fairgrounds.  Key that one in exactas with Audiacious Angel, Curlin Kisses and Love the Kitten.  Exacta boxes 6-3, 6-2, 6-7

Race 4:   Malibu Bonnie (4) is working well and Casse hits at 21 percent off this kind of layoff.  Rocket Girl and Tasteful are others to use in a three-horse exacta box.  Exacta box of 4-1-5

Race 5:   Eastport (2) has the look of a future stakes horse and the pedigree to love nine furlongs.  This one is my best bet of the day.  Key him in exactas with Society Beau, Pagliacci and Musical America.  Exacta boxes 2-1, 2-3, 2-7

Race 6:   Luck of the Kitten (3) is working well and likes the Keeneland turf course.  Revved Up (12) has a bad post but a resume with some strong efforts on it and that one merits equal consideration for a  trainer who excels off the layoff.  Play them both on tops in exactas and include Zennor, Forge and Aquaphobia underneath.  Exacta part-wheel 3,12 with 3,12, 5,10,7

Race 7:   in the grade 3 Ben Ali, Bird Song (6) gets the call.  He comes off a lifetime best Beyer fig and while distance is a question mark, trainer Ian Wilkes told me in an interview for Keeneland's social media that he believes Bird Song will love nine furlongs.  Scuba is the one to beat and don't overlook Eagle, who loves this track, and Watershed.  Exacta boxes 6-4, 6-2, 6-3

Race 8:   in the Giant's Causeway, I'm taking Exaggerated (4) to upset Lady Aurelia.  Both are coming off layoffs but the latter is also taking on elders and that's a tough task in April.  Exaggerated likes this track and the trainer hits at 31 percent off this kind of layoff.  Others to use are Ruby Notion, Triple Chelsea and Rapid Rhythm.  Exacta boxes 4-7, 4-1, 4-2, 4-5

Race 9:   in the grade 3 Stonestreet Lexington Stakes, West Coast (10) gets the call.  Baffert is dangerous when he ships and the more accomplished rivals in this race don't scare me off my pick, despite only having a maiden win.  Time to Travel was also impressive in breaking his maiden, so he merits respect.  Resiliency and No Dozing are others I'll use.  Exacta boxes 10-5, 10-1, 10-4

Race 10:   in the grade 1 Coomore Jenny Wiley Stakes, the depth of quality is impressive but I think Lady Eli just has a bit of a class edge in this spot.  She has work over this turf course and she's won here, too.  Key her in exactas with Catch a Glimpse, Dickinson and Time and Motion.  By the way, I talked with Norm Casse, assistant trainer for Catch a Glimpse, and he said her latest work convinced him she's back at her best. Exacta boxes 1-3, 1-4, 1-6

Race 11:  Vigor (8) ran well in the turf debut from a tough post and she has the pedigree to relish racing on the dirt.  Key her in exactas with Makealittlelove, Sheplaysthefield and Gulf Front.   Exacta boxes 8-4, 8-1, 8-7

All Stakes Pick 4 (starts in race 7):  6,4,2,3 with 4,7,1,2,5,10 with 10,1,5,4 with 1
