Race 1:  FLAT DRUNK (1) has been training forwardly for a big performance for a capable two-year-old barn.  ZODACIOUS (5) has decent works and the Ward barn is dangerous at this level.  GIRL’S NIGHT (3) is another Ward trainee to watch in this spot.

    Picks 1-5-3

Race 2:  TISDALE (1) is a first time gelding that has the speed and stamina to handle the distance along with some class relief.  SHOOT FROM THE HIP (6) has been competitive at the claiming level with solid dirt form with stalking ability.  READY BY YOU (4) tackles a new distance on the dirt, but drops down to the claiming level and faces a soft field.

    Picks 1-6-4

Race 3:  SEEYOUATHEDISCO (5) has run her best races over softer footing, but has excellent dirt form as well.  LUCY’S REVENGE (4) hopes to bounce back with a fast track today.  HERONETTA (8) possesses tactical speed and a fast work to handle the move back to the dirt.

    Picks 5-4-8

Race 4:  EL MUNDO (4) hopes to break well to improve at second asking against lesser maidens.  HEAVY ROLLER (3) has steady works to consider from a high percentage from first starter barn (26%).  CANIFORM (8) exits an improved effort to throw into the mix.

    Picks 4-3-8

Race 5:  GRAND JETE (7) just missed in a field of seventeen at a similar distance and barn does well with the Euro invaders as she makes her first start in the U.S.  VAGABOND (12) has been consistent in her few starts and hopefully overcome the outside post.  PRUDENCE (9) has a few solid tries on the grass and looks to improve second start off the layoff.

    Picks 7-12-9

Race 6:  CONQUEST WINDYCITY (6) ran well off the break and should move forward in his second start this year.  TOUR DE FRANCE (3) never been worse than second and has early speed to take him a long way.  RAAGHEB (8) ran a close second behind HONORABLE DUTY in the Tenacious B Stakes three start back and could run well off the brief freshening today with some class relief.

    Picks 6-3-8

Race 7:  JULERETTE (3) needs a turnaround as she returns to allowance company at the right distance plus she runs well here.  PAWLEYS EXPRESS (1) exits an impressive win at GP and should be forwardly placed from the gate once again if she can overcome the inside draw this time out.  BANREE (5) has some class and she loves to win at Keeneland to be the main danger from off the early pace.

    Picks 3-1-5

Race 8:  The Grade III Appalachian Stakes

LA CORONEL (2) has a good chance to shine at Keeneland once again.  She won the Jessamine going longer so let’s hope she can get up in time in her second start off the break.  NEW MONEY HONEY (4) makes her first start since winning the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf and the one to beat if ready to defeat this group like she did last time.  COASTED (6) was caught at the wire in her latest and another that has ran well against top two choices.

    Picks 2-4-6

Race 9:  TANZEN (1) cuts back in distance and runs first off the claim (24%) plus he has performed well in tougher spots.  LEROI’S THRILL (7) leads into race in top form and likes to run second on the dirt.  CHUCKMATE (11) has a bullet work for new connections and new rider aboard to help find his way to the winner’s circle at long odds.

    Picks 1-7-11
