    Friday / October 27

    Race 1

Puertorican Style (7) has caught two really good fields in his first two starts and this drop to maiden claiming could be the ticket to get him to the winner's circle.  Key him in exacta boxes with Want, Out of Hydeing, Tizpure and Royal Holiday.  Exacta boxes 7-6, 7-5, 7-2, 7-1

    Race 2

Pocket of Aces (5) takes a class drop for the Arnold barn, which has done well at this meet.  She's bred to handle two turns and offspring of Harlan's Holiday seem to love this surface.  Key her with Lil Miss Blue Eyes, Butter Up Katie and Strombolian.  Exacta boxes 5-2, 5-4, 5-7

    Race 3

Sprint Grabber (7) has speed and that looks to be a valuable commodity in this spot but he's no standout so put him in an exacta box with Magic Command, Lucky Lotto and Court's Ruling.  Exacta box 7-3-4-1

    Race 4

Trying to beat Thirstforlife with Sir Ballantine (3).  The former's barn has gone cold in the second half of the meet while the latter takes a class drop and gets Leparoux in the saddle.  Key Sir Ballantine with the favorite plus Stapleton.  Exacta box 3-1, 3-6

    Race 5

Daddy Is a Legend (9) looks like a standout off that runnerup effort behind the horse I think will win the BC Juvenile Fillies Turf race next week at Del Mar.  Salty Scott, C.S. Incharge, Jing, Vevina and Tropical Wave are the ones I'll use with her.  Key exacta boxes 9-11, 9-12, 9-14, 9-7, 9-4

    Race 6

Trying a longshot here with Forty Acres (6).  He could improve with a race over the track under his belt and the drop in class and I like that he has two wins here.  Key him in exacta boxes with Noshackleshere, Whateverybodywants, Hunka Burning Love and Ender.  Exacta boxes 6-7, 6-8, 6-2, 6-5

    Race 7

I'm not high on anyone in this field so when that happens, look for a price and I'll try Six Schillings (2).  He ran on his best races on this turf course last fall.  Key him in exactas with Get a Valentine, Rate for Me, Mongolian Greywolf, Douglas Road and One Last Strike (listed in order of preference).  Exacta boxes 2-11, 2-4, 2-1, 2-6, 2-9

    Race 8

No strong opinion here so I'll play a four-horse exacta box of first-time starters who look promising--Emma Kate, Noho, Promissory Note and Miss Devine.  Exacta box 7-8-4-10

    Race 9

Proud Reunion (3) comes out of a strong race at Laurel and she previously beat elders at Kentucky Downs.  Add the fact that Proctor's horses have run great in limited starts here so key her with Burma Road, the Ramsey entry and Brooks House.  Exacta boxes 3-9, 3-1/1a, 3-6

    Race 10

Chasing Cars (3) looks strong here off a big class drop for the hot Asmussen/Santana team.  Key her in exactas with Sales Call, Lady Cleopatra and Twlight Appeal.  Exacta boxes 3-4, 3-5, 3-8

    Late Pick 4 (starts in race 6):  2,1,11, 4,6 with 7,8,4,10 with 3,9,1 with 3,4
