Race 1: FAIRYLAND (10), $375k KEE sales graduate, runs for the repeatedly top two-year-old barn at KEE with an outside draw and high jockey/trainer percentage (35%). KITTY KAT KATE (8) could be the one from the same stable as top choice with a top rider aboard. WAKI PATRIOT (9) has plenty of works to be fit and ready from a capable 2yo outfit.
Race 2: RHODIUM (2) leads into this race in top dirt form with early speed. ANNOY (3) has a strong record at the distance and serious threat to top choice. BLONDE IN THE CITY (1) performs well over local surface.
Race 3: MONEY FLOWS (1) has been consistent running long on the dirt and dangerous in stalking position with jockey Rosario aboard. CLEAR THE MINE (3) will be sharp off the long break and serious player with front running speed if ready. DECEMBER SEVEN (5) exits a key race (behind mult. Graded stakes winner HONORABLE DUTY) and should move forward in today’s event.
Race 4: ROUSTABOUT (1) has several sharp performances to finally succeed back at the maiden claiming level and should be competitive from the gate. SUMMER O’FIFTYFOUR (2) may prefer the longer distance for only his third career start. STARINTHEMAKING (3) tries two turns today and runs for a high percentage trainer for sprint to route (16%) and msw to maiden (22%).
Race 5: DELUSIONAL KK (7) should snatch a win today at the lowest level of her career if in top form. GINGER STONE (1) has been sharp late to get a piece. SECONDHAND JUSTICE (3) possesses early speed with a cut back from last start.
Race 6: JOUST (2) performs well over any turf condition and exits a decent effort in G3 MsGrillo Stakes prior to being checked at the 1/16th pole. DANCELAND (4), well-bred filly, broke her maiden last out at the distance and gets jockey Velazquez back in the irons. LIPSTICK CITY (10) has some experience against winners and exits a rough trip for Chad Brown barn.
Race 7: TIGER EYES (6) appears to be a logical pick with a later running performance on debut at 6 furlongs and gets slightly longer distance at second asking. NOELLE’S MISCHIEF (8) flashed early speed in a key race and working well since to be a serious threat from the Mark Casse stable. TRUE BOOTS (11) has been consistent in the money and a new rider aboard.
Race 8: MUTARAAMY (3) is a lightly raced recent maiden winner and has three recent works to be a threat, but watch the board. FORGE AHEAD FRANKI (2) returns with blinkers on for his second start of the year to be a threat at this distance. LOOKIN FOR A KISS (8) performs well at the allowance compared to his tough schedule last year. He should be a prime suspect from the off the pace.
Race 9: The Grade III Transylvania Stakes
OSCAR PERFORMANCE (4) hopes to put on a grand performance for his first start since a triumph in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf. He has been training sharply for today’s feature race and the on to beat from start to finish. TICONDEROGA (5) has been a serious threat late against graded stakes company to be a major player against top choice with a recent win in the G3 Palm Beach. PROFITEER (1) has consistent form on the grass to move up in class and handle this group.
Race 10: STELLA NOVA (4) won by several lengths first time out and moves up in class. OKBYECA (1) drops to the lowest of her career after a faltering effort, therefore, could be the main danger, but will have to settle for short odds. MISS COCO (9) has displayed ability to run well at dirt sprints, but inconsistent.
