Race 1:  ANIAR (7) showed early speed and quit at the distance on the dirt two starts back.  The 3yo may have need his last race and has a bullet work (clocker’s report) to improve today.  AGRRANDIZEMENT (6) ran a close second against this type of horses then ran third over the track against tougher to move forward with a top rider in the irons.  PARKER ROAD (2) should be tough from off the pace for a competitive barn.

    Picks 7-6-2

Race 2: THREE D (4) faded in the final strides in her first start in two months so expect her to last longer this time around.  SLUICEWAY (5) exits a win and consistent in the money at this level.  KID ROLLINS (2) has the ability to close and should be a threat at a price.

    Picks 4-5-2

Race 3:  ROYAL BURGH (9) is a well-bred STREET SENSE colt that makes his first start with an outside draw for a sharp 2yo barn (27%) with a good series of workouts.  SASSY MOE (8) ran second behind NUN THE LESS, which he came back and won a tough allowance race at Keeneland.  He could be tough if he likes the dirt at the distance for competitive connections.  CURLINO (1) should like the stretch out in distance at second asking.

Race 4:  SCORPION ALY (7) runs well at the distance with early speed and training well over the local surface (clocker’s report).  CHEROKEE BEADS (8) is a sharp closer with good form over the grass including a wet course.  She also is training well in the a.m. (clocker’s report).  THE CONCEPTION (6) exits a good effort in an off the turf event and moves back to the grass for a solid effort.

    Picks 7-8-6

Race 5:  JACK TRIPP (5) ran well during opening weekend at Keeneland and should be a major player sitting close to the pace against this group.  OAK BROOK (6) makes his first start on the dirt with blinkers on.  He has displayed talent on the grass already.  FAIR ADVANTAGE (2) has several good works and gets first time Lasix to improve today.

    Picks 5-6-2

Race 6:  ONE GO ALL SO (5) ran a close third against graded stakes company and should be the main threat if he likes the dirt.  HENRY JONES (7) returns to a route after a win on the dirt going 7 furlongs.  He has a sharp drill to keep him on his toes.  A DAY IN PARADISE (3) goes for a repeat of his last race against winners.

    Picks 5-7-3

Race 7:  FREE WORLD (8) is a distance specialist going a flat mile plus he has excellent turf form.  MONUMENT HILL (3) made a strong middle move during his last race only to flatten out and finish fifth.  The veteran runner may move forward second start in a few months.  EDGE OF REALITY (11) exits a key race, which two runners came back and won their next start.  The 4yo should be tough just off the pace.

    Picks 8-3-11

Race 8:  BARLEY TWIST (7) ran his best effort last time out and should be tough facing similar company this outing.  OSTENTATIOUS ME (8) may be tough from off the pace making a big drop in class.  KNOW YOU KNOW (9) runs first off the off the close for a competitive barn winning at 50% and he exits a just missed effort.

    Picks 7-8-9
