Race 1: Belief (2) ran third with a wide trip and makes her second start over the track. SMILINGUNDAE (3) runs for a top barn and should move forward second start off the layoff. PAIGE GOT EVEN (5) faces winners first time, but exits an impressive maiden victory, although only beat five others.
Race 2: BRACIGLIANO (5) competes for a higher claiming tag after he finished third with an extremely wide trip. DEL MAR SUNSET (1) is the one to beat, but drops in class after a close finish against a tougher field. MADELYN’S WILD MAX (3) runs first off the claim (18%) with seven lifetime wins.
Race 3: FLATTER ME BIG (5) is the one to catch for a high percentage trainer first off claim (21%). STREET MOXIE (2) runs well fresh and could get a nice stalking trip today. RARE ART (3) hopes for a clean getaway in his second start off the claim.
Race 4: HARD LABOR (3) raced evenly with a moderate pace to finish second and moves slightly up in class second start off the break. MOUNTAIN CRY (2) is a consistent maiden runner hoping to pay off for the new connections after a sharp performance over the track this meet. BANKERS HOLIDAY (7) has switched hands since his last start and drops in class.
Race 5: SALTY BREEZE (5) has shown she can run on the grass as the newcomer of the bunch and could surprise us at 6-1 odds. WALKING THE KITTEN (2) is the one to beat as she makes her third start off the break with two solid efforts the last month. SISTER BLUES (6) ran really well first time on the grass.
Race 6: POWER DRIVEN (7) made a huge late run to finish second best and should like the added distance. CONQUEST STREETWAR (3) may like the shorter distance for top connections. KEENE SENSE (2) hopes for a better luck as a 3yo. She has a snappy breeze from the gate to be ready.
Race 7: BOOKELIA ISLAND (3) has three straight sharp efforts and hopefully continues to run well today. CIRCUS PERFORMER (4) looks tough off his last two starts for the Pletcher stable. GOOD RESPONSE (7) may need a race off the bench, but barn wins at 23% off the layoff.
Race 8: DELAY OF GAME (7) was beat by a runaway winner last time and may get her chance to shine with three works for a top notch stable. STYLISH QUALITY (3) exits the same race as the top choice with a bullet work and another top rider aboard. CANDY SIOUX (4) gets first time Lasix with a brief freshening to prove she can hang with these fillies.
Race 9: KISMET’S HEELS (6) faced graded stakes company and should be tough with a brief freshening. EKATI WILDCAT (7) ran decent in his latest to move forward today. GIO’S CALLING (10) is a sharp closer if ready off the break.
