    Sunday, April 19th, 2015

Race 1:  EUFAULA (2) drops in class, but need a clean break and better trip.  KITTEN’S JOURNEY (3) has been consistent the last three starts and top connections take on a soft maiden claiming field. ADDY’S FLOWERS (5) broke her maiden over an off track to be a contender if expected rain shows up.

    Picks 2-3-5

Race 2:  HARD GRACE (7) stretches out to a longer distance, which she’s bred for stamina, and steps down in class.  LINDA’S KITTEN (5) runs with blinkers on with a good work since her close runner-up performance.  Barn wins at 33% first off the claim.  PUNKIN’S PRIDE (8) could improve third time out at a longer distance.

    Picks 7-5-8

Race 3:  PADEN (3) needed his last race and should be tough second time over the track.  The 4yo is training nicely in the a.m. (CL) along with recent Keeneland winner, TONY’S HOLLYDAY.  POLITICAL JUSTICE (4) has early speed to be a contender in this spot.  DREAMINOFTHEWIN (2) is a sharp closer hoping for a contested pace for another at the distance.

    Picks 3-4-2

Race 4:  DARK BRAHMS (10) runs sharp every other time out and hope to bounce back after he was beat at low odds.  A.P. CORSAIR (7) could be tough to catch if he breaks well and gets to the front.   BARLETTS (6) should improve second start off the layoff.  The 10yo has been a talented runner for several years and dangerous if returns to his old form.

    Picks 10-7-6

Race 5:  STRICT COMPLIANCE (11) enjoys running long on the grass and should be the main threat for a hot barn.  CARA MARIE (10) was very impressive in her maiden victory and belongs here if ready off the freshening (CL).  MY SEET GIRL (6) just missed in her first attempt over the softer footing with a wide trip.

    Picks 11-10-6

Race 6:  ALLIDOISDREAMOFYOU (9) gets first time Lasix and good works leading up to his second career start.  SYLVEN PARK (8) ran second in a tough maiden allowance race on the grass at GP.  Barn should have this horse ready to fire at second asking.  REVEREND GREEN (7) has impressive works from the gate (CL) to be one to watch first time out.

    Picks 9-8-7

Race 7:  SPYIN FEELIN (1) has been training sharply and runs with blinkers off.  Filly has early speed from the rail to be the main threat at the distance at short odds.  WILLOW HILLS (6) will be tough to beat if she repeats her effort from over a year ago, but only two published works so watch the tote board.  CORA MESA (3) exits a key race and may come flying late at a price.

    Picks 1-6-3

Race 8:  KHARAFA (9) is a very consistent turf runner with good works for a strong performance first of the year.  IRON POWER (4) should be a major player with early speed.  SINATRA (2) runs for a sharp turf outfit and should be fit with a brief freshening.

    Picks 9-4-2

Race 9:  C’MON CAT (1) has early speed leading into the race off an improved effort to be a to contender in the last today.  RELENTLESS SPIRIT (3) possesses early speed as well plus he runs first time gelding and has a bullet work on April 11th.  DEVILS PEAK (12) runs for a solid barn that usually has their horses and fit and ready.

    Picks 1-3-12
