Kim has been involved with horses all her life. She has worked with pregnant mares, prepping yearlings, managed lay-up barns, exercise rider, assistant trainer and has trained a few of her own horses. She is also very involved in the placement of retired thoroughbreds once their racing careers are over. Kim worked as a handicapper for the Daily Racing form for 5 years before starting her work with Keeneland.
#3 Smilingsundae making her 2nd off the layoff has past form that suggest she can win this one. Her last was a bit disappointing but expect her to improve this time around. #5 Paige Got Even broke her maiden last out by 19 lengths. Like her numbers and she could get part. #2 Belief ran 3rd with this level here April 10th proving she capable with these.
#3, #5 and #2
#1 Del Mar Sunset has been a regular check getter this form cycle and he certainly fits in this spot. #2 Profluent is first off the claim for the Sharp barn. Barn gets 22% winners with this type and he has been working well over the Keeneland course. #5 Bracigliano got left at the gates last time running for $10k here and finished well to land a 3rd. Castellano on board this time and he could get the job done with a sharper break.
#1, #2 and #5
#5 Flatter Me Big is first off the claim for the Amoss barn. Barn is very good with this type and this horse comes over with good form. #2 Street Moxie has been competitive with optional $40K and he looks to pose a threat here as well. #3 Rare Art stablemate to #5 looks like he can land a share.
#5, #2 and #3
#2 Mountain Cry finished 2nd as the favorite here on opening day and was claimed. He steps up in price but actually finds a bit softer bunch. Like his chances to get his picture taken today. #7 Bankers Holiday drops in for a tag for the first time and past form suggest he is a threat here. #3 Hard Labor making his 2nd start of this form cycle ran a decent race last time with similar and should improve off that one.
#2, #7 and #3
#5 Salty Breeze exits her maiden win and stretches out to 2 turns for this one. Tops connections and think this filly will relish the added distance. #2 Walking the Kitten is making her 3rd start off the layoff and has been on the board her last 2. The Kitten’s Joy filly should love this course and be a player. #1 Freethinker is coupled with 1A Wild Covery. Like both these horses in this spot to land in the exotics.

#7 Power Driven is making his 3rd career start and admire the ground he made up last out to finish a close 2nd. #3 Conquest Superstar is also making his 3rd career start. His first 2 races were around 2 turns and could be really sharp shortening up to 7 furlongs. #5 Vilma showed little in a recent effort over this track but he is returning in 8 days which may be the wakeup call he needs and Gary Stevens takes the mount.
#7, #3 and #5
#4 Circus Performer is bred for this distance over the grass. He broke his maiden over the Keeneland lawn and he is making only his 4th career start. Lots of potential here. #3 Bokeelia Island is another with the pedigree to love this distance on the grass. He ran a good race here opening day and look for him to be sharp for this one. #9 Tobias ran 10th in the same race as #3 Bokeelia Island here on opening day but was making his first off the winter break. Past form suggests he is capable of much better and expect a better performance this time with that one under his belt.
#4, #3 and #9
#3 Stylish Quality encountered a rough trip in her last start but has since turned in a couple of really sharp works. #4 Candy Sioux has been regressing in 3 starts but she does get Lasix this time which should move her up. #7 Delay of Game has 2 starts and 2 seconds. She is definitely a player in this field.
#3, #4 and #7
#6 Kismet’s Heels exits Grade 3 company where he finished 8th but was beaten only 2 ½ lengths. He is fresh coming into this one and looks tough to beat. #4 Conquest Sabre Cat has turned in a couple of nice races over the grass and looks strong in the field. #7 Ekati Wildcat finished a willing 3rd going 7 furlongs last out. The added distance here should be beneficial.
