    Race 1

#5 Steel Cut looks much the best on paper in this one but do note the 2 tries at this distance has left her in the 2nd spot. Still her early foot may prove too much for these. #1 Battle Tale is making her 3rd off the layoff and draws Gary Stevens to the saddle. #4 Vanilla Score has the late closing stride to land a share at this level.

    Selections

    #5, #1 and #4

    Race 2

#4 Successful Runner always brings a good game having not missed a check in 9 starts. He also brings a bullet work. #3 Where’s Woody finished a respectable 4th with similar last time and expect him to improve here. #1 Papa Bravo exits his maiden win and looks good for part.

    Selections

    #4, #3 and #1

    Race 3

#11 Sonic Cyster just missed in her debut effort and has worked very well since that one. She gets Lasix this time and Gary Stevens. #4 Assembly’s first effort was good enough to but her in the role of favorite for this start. #10 Double Espresso is making her first start in the U.S. for the O’Neill barn.

    Selections

    #11, #4 and #10

    Race 4

#3 Bobby V has been very popular at the claim box. His consistent performances have landed him as the favorite in this spot. #8 Hollywood Talent is making his 2nd start off a long layoff and drops significantly in class. #5 Love Your Humor fits with these.

    #3, #8 and #5

    Race 5

#12 Try Your Luck moves back to the turf after unsuccessful dirt try. Tough post but she looks to have the talent to overcome. #3 Tizthesound just missed after trying to take the field gate to wire last out. She shortens up just a bit here and may be hard to catch. #5 Cherub improved when moved to the grass last out and look good in this spot.

    Selections

    #12, #3 and #5

    Race 6

#3 Ultra Brat showed nothing in her first start but has spent the winter turning in very nice works and recent gate drill was quite impressive. #5 Forecast is the early favorite and deservingly so off her first effort. #4 Curricula hasn’t been to the races since last October but like that last race where she finished 2nd over this course.

    Selections

    #3, #5 and #4

    Race 7

#6 Ray’swarrior has a very quick early foot and should get an easy lead in here. #5 Whiskey Bravo is coming in with 3 wins in a row competing against solid company. A distance specialist and Trainer Cox wins with 22% first off the claim. #11 Moon River just missed last out. He brings a bullet work and Paco Lopez and may boost the exotics.

    Selections

    #6, #5 and #11

    Race 8

#2 Lady Soul exits a key race finishing 3rd behind Gulfstream Oaks winner Go Maggie Go and Conquest Serenade who broke her maiden here opening day. #2 Dear Elaine is making her 3rd career start and fired off a bullet work here preparing for this one. #7 Ma Can Do It has kept some tough company in past form. She was well beaten in her first off the layoff but expect her to improve here.

    #2, #8 and #7

    Race 9

#1 Da Big Hoss loves this distance having 2 wins with Graded Stakes company covering the 1 ½ mile. He is fresh and working well. #6 Twilight Eclipse consistently turned in triple digit Beyers last year going a route of ground over the grass. His last effort lacked a last response but do expect him to get back to form here. #7 Kaigun exits a win in the Grade 2 Pan American at Gulfstream going this distance.

    Selections

    #1, #6 and #7

    Race 10

#2 Bettying On Lucky showed little in her debut effort but has since found a new barn and works are good. Looking for a long shot in this race and like this one’s chances to score here. #1 Brilliant Belle drops significantly in price and should appreciate that. #3 Only One Wish is also on the drop and moves to the dirt.
