Race 1: SOMANY DREAMS (6) has two sharp efforts in the last month with a bullet work. KICKING KITTY (9) could be the main danger from off the pace if she likes the dirt. GLITTERONTHEHIGHWAY (5) has been training for a big comeback off the layoff for a capable stable at a lower level.
Race 2: HIDDEN CANDY (5) should be tough with early speed or stalking running style at this level. DOC ALMON (6) hopes for a contested pace on the frontend for him to make a big run turning for home for the Ramsey connections. WELL MANNERED (4) has been consistently in the money for several starts racing against similar.
Race 3: UNO MAS MODELO (3) won impressively first time out. He has a good work (WR) over the dirt surface at KEE to be a contender. HONOUR CAMP (4) won wire-to-wire last time out and should be dangerous with front running speed. D. SHIFFLETT (5) drops in class with a cut back in distance and two steady works to be a player.
Race 4: LUCKY STRANGER (4) could lie close to the early pace for a good trip first time at Keeneland. The 3yo has good works leading up to a hopefully winning performance from a competitive barn. DELIVERANCE DAY (6) could deliver this time after a late running effort to finish third in his latest on the dirt. RED WARRIOR (5) is a deep closer making his third start off the break for capable trainer shipping in.
Race 5: OVERTLY (4) is a well-bred filly with a solid attempts to break her maiden on the grass gets a new rider aboard. BARBADOS KITTEN (3) has steady works for an improved effort for the Ramsey’s. ALOTTA SKIRT (9) was the beaten favorite going short that may improve at a longer distance and first time on the grass with her turf pedigree.
Race 6: WABEL (6) leads into the race in top form with a maiden victory and two half-mile drills recently for a stable that has won two races at KEE this meet. MESOMA (4) will be dangerous if he’s ready off the layoff for a low percentage barn off the bench so make sure price is right. ETRUSCAN (2) has fast works, but may prefer a shorter distance.
Race 7: LORD COMMANDER (3) returns off a layoff with early speed. He has a good series of works leading up to sharp performance. AURORA’S KID (4) ran huge first time on the dirt and hopes for another nice effort with jockey Lanerie in the saddle first time. RIYADH (8) has shown tactical speed with consistent works off the layoff.
Race 8: ANY GIVEN ROYAL (10) makes his first start in several months with great form on the grass, which race could set up well for this late runner first start off the layoff. ONE STEP SALSA (1) is undefeated in three races on the grass to be the one to beat. LURAGO (3) is another that should enjoy plenty of early pace as he exits a good effort at KD.
Race 9: WAR RANGER (2) runs first off the claim for the Maker stable (21%) and faces a soft field of maidens to be dangerous with early speed over the main track. NO FUNNY BIZ (8) runs with blinkers and gets a sharp rider aboard for his first start in three months, which hopefully ready. GARHEID (7) tries two turns first time with jockey Lanerie picking up the mount, and he runs for a lower tag.
