Race 1: OUTLAW CHASE (5) was purchased for $50k at the Ocala 2yo in training sales and competes first time out for a sharp trainer with debut runners (31%). Nice series of works to be ready. MEDAL OF COURAGE (4) should improve with the added distance second time out. ARTEMUSMAILCARRIER (1) did face a top-notch 2yo, CARPE DIEM, at first asking to deserve another chance with a top rider in the irons.
Race 2: BLUEGRASS GIN (6) ran second at this level behind a wire-to-wire winner. He wears blinkers first time with a sharp work October 5th. BLAKE BEAUTIES (5) was well bet on debut, but had a poor start. She has a nice breeze from the gate to be ready time around. SPEEDY GIRL (7) will be the outside speed to be a contender from the start.
Race 3: SANCULPA (2) won at the distance on the grass two starts back. He moves to the dirt, which he has been training well over it plus a better draw compared to last race. BILL OF RIGHTS (4) may need a race, but barn prevails with layoff horses and he has good form on the dirt going two turns. DOUBLE RAH RAH (6) drops in class and has early speed.
Race 4: FIFTH AND MARKET (7) runs for a lower tag, but may prefer a longer distance. She has good form over a soft turf course. DEVILISH REASON (8) broke her maiden last time out and could be a threat just off the pace in this soft claiming field. FASTER THEN LIGHT (6) has run decent off the bench in the past to be a player in this spot.
Race 5: REASON TO BE PROUD (7) runs first off the claim with a tactical speed and jockey Castellano in the irons. GALLANT EAGLE (1) makes his first start for new connections and competes well at the nine furlongs. PRECIPICE TRAIL (2) won his last three of four starts, but may want to go longer on the dirt.
Race 6: PYRITE MOUNTAIN (4) just missed in a graded stakes event. He tries hard every time and overdue for his picture taken. ARIPEKA (11) won a first level allowance race last time out to be a contender today. BUCK BENNY (7) won at a longer distance on the grass for sharp connections in his latest race.
Race 7: ULANBATOR (1) has been facing several tough fields and returns off a brief freshening in the right spot to be a player on the rail. TOUT (9) ran well with blinkers off to break his maiden as he leads into the race in sharp form. RANKHASPRIVILEGES (7) returns to the dirt where he runs his best races.
Race 8: The Grade III Sycamore Stakes
HOLIDAY STAR (3) faces graded stakes company once again to show more while he at the top of his game. ST. ALBANS BOY (1) has done well over multiple turf courses and the regular rider ships in. RED RIFLE (4) won at the distance last time out and should be the controlling speed in the race.
Race 9: BARBADOS (2) is a SPEIGHTSTOWN colt that makes his first start on the dirt with a new rider in the saddle. POW WOW PAL (4) was second at first asking from a competitive 2yo barn. FLAUNT (5) looked sharp working in the morning for a 26% first time starter stable.
