Race 1: DREAM SOFTLY (2) returns off a layoff and takes on easier company with consistent works and early speed. INFLICTION (4) can advance second time over the track with a drop in class and a better draw. MINGO MINGO (1) has speed on the rail and seems to enjoy the softer footing.
Race 2: ST LOUIE SLEW (4) leads into the race in sharp form after a late running third over the track in her latest. The race should set-up well for her to get a decent trip from off the pace. BULLY GIRL (12) makes a suspicious drop off a poor effort to watch the odds on this one. MINNIE BEAR (9) ran well even though she had a poor break and should like the shorter distance.
Race 3: WELCOME ABROAD (8) hopes to bounce back off a dull effort at HAW. Solid turf runner seemed to handle the polytrack at AP earlier in her career to be a contender for capable connections. QUIET SUCCESS (7) has recent success on the grass and needed her last race to offer more in this spot especially with a change of tactics. TRULY MARIE (6) has great form over synthetic footing.
Race 4: SPRING AGAIN (5) should be tough from a highly competitive barn with 2yos. She has been training well and just missed in her latest. MYTHIC (11) is a daughter of TALE OF THE CAT (16%) that is well bred for the distance for a 19% barn with debut runners. SKIPPING (1) has good works leading up to this race.
Race 5: FULL METAL (4) has a solid turf pedigree that should like the added distance off a sharp effort on the grass. INDIGO KITTEN (7) hopes to be more of a threat at second asking with some time off and consistent works. CAN’THELPBELIEVING (3) should like the longer distance for a hot barn especially on the grass.
Race 6: HUNTING HILL (3) exits an improved effort and may try to steal this on the front. KATSURA (8) has a solid pedigree with a sharp rider aboard to consider at 10-1 odds. ANNOY (4) should be ready with fast works in the a.m.
Race 7: SEANCHAI (8) is the class of the field that may want to go longer as she switches barns and makes her first start in two months. BOLD KITTEN (6) faces older horses first time, but has tactical speed and can win at the distance. SHE’S POPULAR (12) will have to overcome the outside post as she prefers to stalk the pace early. She runs for a sharp turf outfit.
Race 8: SEVE (2) needs a better break for a better trip with a new rider aboard. This race is full of early pace to set-up well for the closer. DEL MAR SUNSET (12) has quick works to gear up for another winning performance. He should be forwardly placed from the gate from the outside. GOOD TICKLED (3) is in good form knocking at the door and should like the slightly longer distance.
Race 9: SHRINKING VIOLET (1) is part of a solid entry for solid connections. She has tactical speed and leads into the race in winning form. BROWN EYE BLUE (2) has been sharp in her lightly raced career to be a major player with early pace. COR COR (7) has been training consistently to be ready off the bench for a 15& layoff barn.
Race 10: SCMOOZ TALKER (8) should be stalking from the outside as he drops in class second start off the claim for the leading stable. EVIL DOER (12) runs second most of the time to throw into the exacta. He’s a sharp sprinter at the top of his game. TEND (11) raced fourth against tougher company last time and should consider at decent odds for a competitive trainer. He has two wins over the local surface and should be tough late in the stretch.
