Race 1: (2) Tiu. Should improve with a race over the strip and had some trouble in that first try on opening weekend. Exacta boxes: 2-1, 2-3, 2-7
Race 2: (3) Night Party. Was stuck on a dead rail in the opening weekend run so it's better than it looks on paper. Also, he has run some good races here. Exacta boxes: 3-1, 3-7, 3-9
Race 3: (8) Minnie Bear. Best race of this one's career came at Keeneland and she's working well here for this start. Exacta boxes: 8-5, 8-4, 8-1
Race 4: (3) Kalamos. Mott is very good with layoff types and this one kept better company than this in France. Exacta boxes: 3-1-, 3-4, 3-9
Race 5: (5) Pretty Syrie. None of the ones that have already started have done much and this one was purchased earlier this year for most than 10 times the stud fee of her sire. Exacta boxes: 5-7, 5-1, 5- 9
Race 6: (2) Comes the Dream. Lost to Frac Daddy at Saratoga but he was racing against the inside speed bias that day. And he won impressively at Kentukcy Downs from a bad post. Exacta boxes 2-4, 2-6, 2-9
Race 7: (3) Hard Aces. Has caught some tough fields and may have finally found a softer spot. Plus, he ran well here in the spring. Exacta boxes: 3-11, 3-10, 3-1
Race 8: (1) Eagle Poise. The Sycamore is wide open so don't take a short price. Eagle Poise loves the marathons and trainer Motion excels in that category, too. And this one is making his third start off a layoff, often a time when horses fire their best shot. Exacta box of 4 horses: 1-3-4-7
Race 9: (5) Serving Time. The Mike Bell-trainee is 2-for-3 at Keeneland and steps up off a good win. Exacta boxes: 5-10, 5-7, 5-2
Late Pick 4 (race 6): 2,4 with 3,1,10,11 with 1,3,4,5,7,8 with 5
