Race 1: KEENELAND KITTEN (2) is a well-bred colt that exits a key race and runs for sharp connections. BROADWAY MISSILE (8) was the beaten favorite against maiden allowance foes two starts back and may have been compromised with an outside post in his latest. Barn makes a rider switch and drops him in class to help his chances. TEXAS TEX (11) returns fresh and picks up a sharp rider to improve second time going route against lesser competition.
Race 2: JAMRAA (2) leads into the race off two sharp performances over similar footing. Distance could be a big question, but catches a soft field to perform well. TOWN FLIRT (4) runs first off the claim (28%) with consistent works, but never raced on the polytrack. BANDI’S GAL (10) has good synthetic form and raced evenly in her latest effort. Should like the return to a longer distance.
Race 3: WHOMPING WILLOW (8) ran well at the distance two starts back. Filly has been given a brief freshening with some powerful workouts over the dirt. Looks tough if she likes the synthetic footing. MIZZEN MOON (4) is a high purchased filly running for a 26% barn with debut runners. Nice breeze from the gate on the October 4th. SUMMER IN BALI (6) has several sharp performances in sprint races over the Tapeta.
Race 4: MISH MOSH (2) has early inside speed with seven wins in eighteen starts. He will be tough from the gate. GOLD ELEMENT (8) should be there in the end if there is a contested pace. All of his victories have come over the dirt so surface may be an issue. SASUENO (5) ran two sharp races in his last two starts. This is the toughest spot to date for the 5yo, but versatile gelding should be a contender.
Race 5: CHARISMATIC PULPIT (5) has a nice pedigree and should be tough off the bench if ready. He has taken a lot of money at the windows in previous starts. ARRIVING (10) is much better as a sprinter as he leads into the race with a fitness edge. He has two moderate works heading into the race. Should be stalking from the outside. IAMDONEWITHMYLAWER (6) ran a huge effort last time out as he makes his third start off the break.
Race 6: CAPE SAVANNAH (11) seemed to handle the firm turf course at Delaware Park for his first start in the states and could move forward today. Barn does well with marathon runners on the grass and this Irish bred can run all day long over the soft footing. FORMIDABLE HEART (10) has a solid turf pedigree to be a serious threat if ready off the break. NEWFOUND ZAPPER (3) may have needed that race and should move forward today.
Race 7: AURELIA’S BELLE (9) has good local works to be ready on debut for a high percentage stable (19%) with firsters. BOOM BOOM VROOM (8) showed early speed and quit down the stretch in the slop. She has only two published workouts so tread lightly. RUMBA (10) is bred for speed for a hot barn. She also has nice breezes leading up to this race.
Race 8: MILAM (5) will turn back in distance after showing early speed then quitting in a G2 event. She is well bred and may prefer the shorter distances. Nice works in the last thirty days. CYNICAL STORM (8) won stalking first time out and will try to repeat from the outside as she moves from the dirt to the synthetics for the Pletcher stable. HENNY JENNY (7) took over mid-stretch to win by many lengths on debut at PID. PID runners have been running well here so far and she’s another one that could come flying late.
Race 9: The Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup
ALTERITE (4) hopes to repeat her latest performance for her second start in a G1 race in the U.S. She has excellent turf form for a top-notch turf stable. KITTEN’S DUMPLINGS (7) is a multiple graded stakes winner that returns fresh after she was beat in the G1 Del Mar Oaks last time out. She should be dangerous late in the stretch for current top owners at Keeneland. I’M ALREADY SEXY (9) goes for three in a row and should be forwardly placed from the gate to run her best effort at the distance. Highly capable barn and rider ships in for the mount.
Race 10: MEDIUM EXCHANGE (10) runs first off the claim for winning connections and second start off the break to move forward after she was the beaten lukewarm favorite in the slop last time out. JUSTICE JUDY (3) has come close in several starts now, but still remains a maiden in fourteen starts. She has early speed and should like the return to a shorter distance. CUE E DEE (5) has two decent performances over the turf and could run well first time on the poly in this soft field. She should be tough late with rider Albarado back aboard.
