st Race: KEENELAND KITTEN (#2) is one of two runners in here exiting a key race at Kentucky Downs. He drops in for a tag today and rates a slight edge over Broadway Missile with Julien Leparoux picking up the mount for trainer Mike Maker. BROADWAY MISSILE (#8) was right behind the top pick last out and is definitely the main competition. KODIAK SYD (#3) is a contender.
nd Race: TOWN FLIRT (#4) is another Maker runner from the red-hot Ramsey barn. She was claimed last out and has been training well since coming to Kentucky. She appears to be in a good spot to get the win today. JAMRAA (#2) has been running well at Presque Isle Downs and is the one to beat. BANDI'S GAL (#10) has a solid record on the Polytrack and rates a chance.
rd Race: WHOMPING WILLOW (#8) has been off since July but is training sharply for Dale Romans. She figures to be ready to go this afternoon and looks like a winner with Robby Albarado up. SUMMER IN BALI (#6) comes in off three straight runner-up finishes and is the one to beat. RESITIVITY(#10) is training well for Mark Casse.
th Race: SKY ABOVE (#6) is a lightly raced 4-year-old who has been in the money in 6 of his 7 races. He has the tactical speed to be in good position throughout and can spring the mild upset. GREAT ATTACK (#4) is the definite class of the field and if he handles the move to the Polytrack he will be very hard to beat. GOLD ELEMENT (#8) lost his best chance when he broke poorly last out at Churchill Downs but fits in here
th Race: ARRIVING (#10) ran a decent race in his debut but didn't break sharply from the outside post when he tried a route of ground in his Churchill race. He should like the move back to a sprint distance and can win this one with Robby Albarado up. RED MOON RISING (#9) was well backed in his debut at Arlington but faltered badly after showing some early speed. Expect a better performance today. IAMDONEWITHMYLAWYER (#6) is a contender.
th Race: CAPE SAVANNAH (#11) ran well in his U.S. debut and will appreciate the added distance today. Trainer Jonathan Sheppard adds Lasix and this one rates the slight edge with Julien Leparoux in the irons. EMPIRE KNIGHT (#2) was an impressive winner at the mile and a half distance at Kentucky Downs and has to be respected. FORMIDABLE HEART (#10) is a solid threat in a wide-open race.
th Race: BOOM BOOM VAROOM (#8) broke slowly and then rushed up to press a fast pace in her debut at Saratoga. She faded badly in that one but has been training well since and gets the nod in here. TONI'S HOLLYDAY (#4) was favored in her debut at Churchill but failed to fire. Look for improvement today. KALA RYAN (#6) debuts for Bret Calhoun, who is good with first-timers.
th Race: MILAM (#5) looked sharp in her maiden win and was fourth in the Pocahontas (G2) after setting the pace. She should be in good position throughout today and rates the edge for trainer Eddie Kenneally and jockey Brian Hernandez Jr. CYNICAL STORM (#8) was a game winner in her only race at Saratoga and will be tough with John Velazquez back up for Todd Pletcher. ANGIE'S PRIM LADY (#4) is a contender.
th Race – Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup (G1): ALTERITE (#4) narrowly missed in a couple of Group 1 races in France and won the Grade 1 Garden City in her U.S. debut. She figures to move forward off that score and looks like a good bet to make it two in a row for trainer Chad Brown and jockey John Velazquez. KITTEN’S DUMPLINGS (#7) had a three-race win streak broken with a fourth-place finish in the Del Mar Oaks (G1). She is at the top of her game and will be running at the end. I'M ALREADY SEXY (#9) showed huge improvement in her last two. She makes a big move up in class but has the speed to be in contention throughout and is a solid contender.
th Race: MEDIUM OF EXCHANGE (#10) was claimed last out by Ramseys/Maker and has been firing bullets in her morning works. She should be ready to go today. PENTATHLON (#1) has only had one race and can be expected to improve. JUSTICE JUDY (#3) rates a chance.
