Race 1: NO SUPERVISION (4) won first time out and the second place finisher, MOUND, came back to win his next two races including the Loyalty Stakes at Belterra Park. He should be tough against this soft claiming field. OMARVELOUS (5) was beat twice in tough MSW at Saratoga. He finally broke his maiden at CD, but it was a short field going a flat mile. GOTIT TODO (2) did improve in her latest to win, but she takes on the boys for her first time facing winners.
Race 2: MAJESTIC SHOES (4) has been facing much tougher including her last start, which TIZ WINDY won and came back to win the Grade II Indiana Downs Oaks. She likes the distance over the dirt. LITTLE FACE (5) is the best of early speed and could get away on the frontend. CHERISHED OBSESSION (1) gets a rider change to help her chances of finding her way back to the winner’s circle.
Race 3: MARIANO INTHENINTH (1A) returns fresh with a bullet work and has early speed for a hot barn. OCEAN ALLEY (6) ran well going short at first asking and may like the return to 6 ½ on the dirt. SHOE JO (4) may improve second time out after he ran second behind a runaway winner.
Race 4: LA RAMBLA (1) just missed going a flat mile on the turf in her latest effort. She’s knocking on the door to break her maiden. FLYING TIPAT (8) was a close third in a maiden allowance race at Saratoga and came back to run decent next time in a stakes. She gets Lasix and returns to face MSW foes. FAZLE DAZZLE (2) is a well-bred filly on debut for a 15% trainer with first time starters and several works to be fit.
Race 5: FRUIT LUDT (9) drops in class to graduate today for a hot barn. Last race’s winner, FIRST BID, won a starter allowance at Belmont. TOOLPUSHER (8) needs to break sharply and may find the finish first since he has run a close second and fourth at the distance. PENOBSCOT (7) drops in class for a top-notch stable.
Race 6: RUN HIDE MY GIRL (7) rallied late for third in a starter allowance race last time. He broke his maiden at the distance and competes at a lower class level. JUDY JUDY JUDY (1) leads into the race in top form after he won a NW2L by several lengths. LITTLE ARIEL (3) wears blinkers first time to focus and be more than a gimmicks player.
Race 7: SET THE SAIL (1) is a distance specialist at a mile and a eighth on the grass. He lost by a nose last time and should be tough with early speed. MARGANO (5) won a stakes last time and he’s 2 for 2 at the distance. BAD DEBT (8) has consistent works to compete for the Trombetta barn that claimed him back.
Race 8: ROCKET TIME (5) broke his maiden in hand at a flat mile. He turns back in distance after he ran nine furlongs at CD and blinkers off for a capable barn. QUIET RULER (8) should be a solid threat from off the pace. DEMANDER (6) reunited with jockey Brian Hernandez as he makes his third start off the layoff.
Race 9: ESKENFORMONEY (2) has decent form on the grass and barn adds the hood for a better trip. SCOTTISH SWEETIE (4) should like the cut back in distance and needs a clean trip with a sharp break. KITTEN’S JOURNEY (9) has a classy pedigree to be something special even first time out for a 17% 2yo barn.
