    Race #7

    #4 Bandwidth - Fair odds 5/2
    #2 Rafting - Fair odds 5/2
    #1 Gun Runner - Fair odds 3/1
    #5 Smart Moon - Fair odds 3/1
Bandwidth gets slight preference, having showed a lot of maturity rallying from 10th of 12 to win by 6 widening lengths in his debut last month. Flattered when the runner-up came back to win, the son of Mineshaft is bred to run even better around two turns as he's trying today and he could win just as easily with improvement.

Rafting tried turf first out and ran poorly, but woke up to win on dirt in career start #2. Adding Lasix and with a lot of improvement in his 3rd start, for top trainer Motion, he would also be no surprise if winning again.

Gun Runner gets the ground saving rail and like Bandwidth won in his one and only start. That came in a one turn mile race last month and he too showed maturity for a first time starter, stalking the pacesetter in 3rd early and getting up past a pair of runners late. As a son of Candy Ride he's going to improve as the distances increase.
Smart Moon also stalked the pacesetter to go by in the stretch to win last out, his 2nd career start, and like the others his breeding suggests he will appreciate this added distance, so he rounds out a quartet that can run well in this race.
Note: This is a great BETTING card at Keeneland, with race 8, 9 and 10 "Key Betting Races" on my full card report available at and other sites
