    Sunday / October 5

Race 1:  Total Talent (3) is the pick for connections that love to point for any meet at Keeneland.  Exacta boxes:  3-5, 3-7

Race 2:  Smart Ashley (1) has a much better post position than the favorite and she's bred to handle the move to dirt.  Exacta boxes: 1-4, 1-9, 1-11

Race 3:  Golden Moon (4) drops from maiden special company and may have a slight class edge here.  Exacta boxes:  4-1, 4-5

Race 4:  Chongo (5) showed big improvement last time out and third start off the layoff coulld mean a peak effort.  Exacta boxes:  5-2, 5-1

Race 5:  Jewelynumber (3) may be able to seize the early lead in this group and she's in her best form.  Exacta boxes:  3-1, 3-8

Race 6:  Aunt Sheri (6) is a model of consistency thus far and she should be fit off that Kentucky Downs race.  Exacta boxes:  6-10, 6-8, 6-12

Race 7:  Hopefaithjoy (9) is bred to improve on the stretchout and Pletcher wins at 29 percent with second-time starters.  Exacta boxes 9-8, 9-7, 9-4

Race 8:  the Dixiana Bourbon features two strong contenders in Conquest Tsunami (7) and Can't Happen Here (3).  I'll take the former but if he runs Saturday instead, then the #3 is the pick.  Danny Boy (4) is worth a long look, too, off that turf effort at Ellis.  Exacta part-wheel 3,7 over 2,4,5 and then 2,4,5 over 3,7

Race 9:  in the grade 1 Juddmonte Spinster, it's hard to see anyone beating Close Hatches (2).  It'll be a treat to see her perform on the new Keeneland dirt track.  Don't Tell Sophia is on top of her game and may complete the exacta.  Exacta straight 2-5

Race 10:  Stroll to Victory (4) gets the nod here because of having a win over the local course.  It's a wide-open group, though, so spread out in the horizontal wagers.  Arcane (8) could be dangerous for Motion and the connections of Woodfield Springs (7) have been high on him for awhile now.   Exacta box of 4-8-7-1

    Late Pick 4 (starts in race 7):  9,8,7 with 7,3,4 with 2 with 4,8,7,1,2
