st Race: TELLALITTLESECRET (#2) is a 9-year-old veteran who makes just her second start of the year. She won over this track last year and a repeat of that one would make her tough to beat today. OUT TO SEA (#1) should make the lead from the inside post and could be hard to catch with Corey Lanerie aboard. b prefers the turf but fits in here.
nd Race: DEEP IN A DREAM (#6) has been running well against some tough competition. He has the speed to be on or near the lead throughout and appears to be in a good spot to break his maiden today. HAVE SOME CANDY (#3) showed nothing on the Belmont turf but should like the move to the dirt this afternoon. Trainer Kenny McPeek adds Lasix and this one is capable of improvement. SAY HEY KID (#1) is also trained by McPeek. He may not have cared for the slop here on opening day and has to be respected.
rd Race: CURLINO (#4) is dropped in for a tag for the first time and ran well over the Keeneland dirt last October. He cuts back to six furlongs and figures to be running late in a race that should have a lively pace. He looks like a winner with Julien Leparoux picking up the mount for trainer Mark Casse. HOW ABOUT HIM (#5) has been dull in his last two but has been freshened since July and won over this track in April. He is the one to catch. HUNTER'S STRIKE (#6) comes off an even effort at Churchill and is a contender.
th Race: LOVE THE KITTEN (#2) has been flashing speed on the turf and ran well over the Keeneland main track back in April. Trainer Wesley Ward drops her in for a tag and she gets in light with apprentice Eric Cancel picking up the mount. She looks best in this one. GAME TRAIL (#7) showed improvement last out to finish third and gets Lasix for the first time today. SENSOUS PAT (#4) rates a chance.
th Race: C ISLANDSURPRISE (#9) has shown big improvement since trainer Paul McGee claimed her back in May. She exits a solid race against a tough field at Churchill and shouldn't mind the move back to the turf today. She could spring the mild upset. COLLEGE HOLLY (#4) woke up when moved to the grass at Churchill and will be running at the end for trainer Kenny McPeek and jockey Calvin Borel. STREAMLINE (#5) is an Illinois-bred who has won three of five and has to be respected.
th Race: LADY DAY BLUES (#12) broke poorly in her debut but came back to finish second behind a repeat winner last out. She looks like a solid bet to get her maiden win with Julien Leparoux back aboard for trainer Kenny McPeek. SWEETWATER (#9) makes her third start for trainer Mark Casse and should like the move to the dirt. MIDNIGHT VISITOR (#2) flashed speed in her debut and is a contender.
th Race: PATSY'S HOLIDAY (#2) faded after setting the pace in her last race at Saratoga but should be able to get a good trip from just off of the pace with Julien Leparoux up today. Look for her to regain her winning ways in a tough allowance race. ANNULMENT (#1) has solid form and figures to be the main competition. INDUSTRIAL POLICY (#5) merits consideration.
th Race: RUNWAY BLVD (#10) moves up in class after being claimed last out by Moss/Richard. She looks best in a fairly weak maiden claimer. BELISAMA (#4) drops a notch in class and adds blinkers. COLLEENS STORM (#8) is a contender.
