SATURDAY / October 25
Race 1: Sandbar (2) takes a big drop and the trainer has done well at this meet with limited starters. Exacta boxes 2-3, 2-4
Race 2: Judy Legend (4) and Cali Star (5) are a toss up but I'll give a slight edge to the former based of having a little more early speed. Exacta box 4-5
Race 3: Mr. Classic Seneca (1) drops in class and shows a nice work here at Keeneland. Exacta boxes 1-4, 1-9, 1-3
Race 4: Strike a Balance (1) is bred to relish the stretchout in distance and was well-bet in his debut. Exacta boxes 1-7, 1-9, 1-2, 1-4
Race 5: Penobscot (4) made a big rally with a wide trip last time and his last two dirt races have been quite good. Exacta boxes 4-1, 4-7, 4-8
Race 6: Handsome Dennis (9) makes the third start for new connections and he ran into some trouble while rallying last time out. Exacta boxes 9-6, 9-7, 9-3
Race 7: Bump Start (1) showed big improvement in the first start off a layoff and he's working very well here at Keeneland. Exacta boxes 1-2, 1-8, 1-4
Race 8: Shatak (8) drops out of tougher company at Saratoga and is making only the second start since January for a sharp trainer. Exacta boxes 8-5, 8-14, 8-1, 8-12
Race 9: in the grade 2 Hagyard Fayette Stakes, there is not an abundance of speed so the ability of Long River (7) to lay close is a plus. Also, he looks to be improved with the addition of blinkers. Stephanoatsee (3) had a bad start last time and would get even more attractive here if his price floats up. Exacta box of 7-3-2-1
Race 10: Market Appeal (10) has the pedigree to love this stretchout in distance and Kenneally wins at a 31 percent rate when his horses go second off the layoff. Exacta boxes 10-2, 10-5, 10-9
Late Pick 4 (starts in race 7): 1,2 with 8,5,1,4 with 7,3,2,1 with 10,9,5
