Race 2: Blake Beauties (5) was well-bet in the debut but got off to a slow start and should improve today. Exacta boxes 5-6, 5-1
Race 3: Sanculpa (2) shows three good works and the trainer wins at 23 percent with the turf-to-dirt move. Exacta boxes: 2-1, 2-6
Race 4: Aroseformineshaft (2) shows a good work on this track and the jock is having a solid meet. Exacta boxes: 2-1, 2-4
Race 5: Transylvania Flash (5) was improved in the first start off a layoff and should show improvement in the second outing. Exacta boxes: 5-7, 5-4, 5-2
Race 6: Pyrite Mountain (5) should be a heavy favorite and rightfully so. This looks like a move to drop him in class for a confidence-building win after three straight tough beats. Exacta boxes: 5-4, 5-6
Race 7: Joyful Moments (4) showed big improvement in the first start off a layoff and was visually impressive in that comeback win. Exacta boxes 4-1, 4-5, 4-8
Race 8: in the grade 3 Sycamore Stakes, the pick is Red Rifle (4). He just ran his best Beyer and it came at this marathon distance. Exacta boxes 4-9, 4-2, 4-5, 4-3
Race 9: Mean Intentions (7) shows a sharp work for a good first-out trainer. Exacta boxes 7-5, 7-4, 7-2
