SATURDAY, October 22
Race 1: (6) Maggie Sue has a win at Keeneland and is the best shot to try and beat the favorite here. Exacta boxes 6-2, 6-3
Race 2: (9) Albert Charles has a race over the track and the pedigree suggests he will like two turns. Exacta box of 9-10-8-5-2
Race 3: (5) WInkatdawat turns back from a longer distance and has a race over the track and I like both of those angles, plus this horse has 15 career wins. Exacta boxes 5-4, 5-7, 5-6
Race 4: (9) She's Actin Single is a first-time for a sharp trainer and Bravo takes the mount, which adds to the appeal. Add in the good local works and there's a lot to like. Exacta boxes 9-5, 9-3, 9-1
Race 5: (7) Make Amends comes out of a key race in which the top three winners have come back to win already at this meet. And she didn't have the best of trips in that start either, so improvement can be expected. Exacta boxes 7-11, 7-8, 7-1, 7-3
Race 6: (5) Naifah ran into a good one in the US debut so this class drop should give Naifah a big chance to win here. And first-time lasix could move this one forward, too. Exacta boxes 5-4, 5-11, 5-7, 5-12
Race 7: (8) Starship Zeus is steadily improving and he has run well previously over this track. Exacta boxes 8-6, 8-2, 8-9, 8-4
Race 8: (4) Tale of Life has strong form if you toss the last out at Parx and that track can be a little quirkly. Also, this one has already won at Keeneland. Exacta boxes 4-5, 4-3, 4-1, 4-8
Race 9: (10) Sophia's Song was narrowly beaten by Irish Jasper two starts back and that one came back to win the TCA Stakes here on opening weekend. She's working well and while she has speed, she showed last time that she doesn't need the lead and that tactical ability is a big plus in the speed-heavy group. (12) Lighstream is most definitely the one to beat and a must-use in multi-race wagers. Exacta boxes 10-12, 10-8, 10-4
Race 10: (3) Casual Cocktail has a good turf pedigree and a good post and the first-time turf and first-time blinkers are both good angles for this trainer. Exacta boxes 3-1, 3-4, 3-5, 3-11
Late Pick 4 (starts in race 6): 5,1,6,8 with 6,2 with 13,3,1,5,8 with 3,11
