    Saturday / October 4

Race 1:  Defoe Street (7) showed big improvement in the last race and he has ITM finishes at 7 furlongs.  Exacta boxes:  7-2, 7-4

Race 2:  Escalate (6) shows a sharp workout pattern and has a pedigree to relish two turns.   Exacta boxes: 6-7, 6-5, 6-3

Race 3:  Got Lucky (5) gets class relief in a big way here and it looks a spot for her to regain some confidence.  Exacta boxes:  5-7, 5-6

Race 4:  Starbound (9) has a little more experience that most of these and has a one-mile race under her belt.  I also like that Rosario keeps the mount.  Vogner (7) is dangerous at a price with that two-turn race under the belt.  Exacta boxes:  9-7, 9-6, 9-2

Race 5:  No Nay Never (9) has flashed some big-time talent both here and abroad and on this big day, I'm betting the trainer will have this one cranked up for the high-profile owners.  Tell All You Know (1) is a dangerous price play with Rosario in the saddle.  Exacta boxes:  9-10, 9-1, 9-5

Race 6:  Stonetastic (5) looks like the one to beat in the TCA Stakes.  She seems to have taken her game to a new level at three and she has some tactical speed that should serve well with this speed-laden group.  Exacta boxes:  5-6, 5-7, 5-8

Race 7:  Centre Court (9) is the price play in the loaded edition of the grade 1 First Lady.  She loves Keeneland and she may be back at her best in the second start off a layoff for connections that love to win here.  Somali Lemonade, Dayatthespa, Discreet Marq and Filimbi are all capable of winning this heat, too.  Exacta boxes 9-8, 9-7 ,9-6, 9-1

Race 8:  Tough Customer broke his maiden at 7 furlongs and was impressive enough that he's my pick in the grade 1 Claiborne Breeders Futurity.  He's bred to love the stretchout to two turns as well.  Bold Conquest (6), Conquest Tsunami (7), Hashtag Bourbon (10) and Keen Ice (11) are the ones I'll use with him.  Exacta boxes 1-6, 1-7, 1-10, 1-11

Race 9:  Wise Dan (6) should be even better in the second start off the layoff, and surgery, and he's 3-for-4 at Keeneland.  Seek Again (8) merits a long look and don't sleep on Optimizer (2), as that last effort looks legit.  Exacta boxes 6-8, 6-2

Race 10:  Enchantress (7) was purchased earlier this year for 10 times the stud fee so this one must have tremendous potential.  And for high-profile connections to send this one out on a big day suggests she's ready to fire first-out.   Exacta boxes 7-2, 7-9, 7-11

    Late Pick 4 (starts in race 7):  9,8,7,6,1 with 1,6,7 with 6,2,8 with 7
