SATURDAY, April 4
Race 1: (3) Size posted a 91 Beyer fig in her only race at this distance and she may get back to that level or beyond in her second start off the layoff. Exacta boxes 3-1/1A, 3-4
Race 2: (8) Taghleeb comes off a career-best speed figure and this is the second start off a layoff. Also, Taghleeb is 1-for-1 at Keeneland. Exacta boxes 8-2, 8-6, 8-1A
Race 3: (6) Japan beat over half the field in the first race out and now moves into the Bill Mott barn. Don't be surprised if he makes a move forward. Exacta boxes 6-1, 6-5, 6-8
Race 4: (3) Patrioticandproud has a recency advantage over a field of strong challengers who are making their 2015 debuts and that could be enough to get him home first. Exacta boxes 3-1/1A, 3-7, 3-6
Race 5: (7) Two Weeks Off has a win at this distance at Keeneland and shows good form off the layoff. Exacta boxes 7-4, 7-5, 7-9
Race 6: (1) Sam's Sister is 3-for-4 at 7 furlongs and might be perfect if not for some trouble in the last start. And it's always wise to respect trainer Jerry Hollendorfer when he ships east. Exacta boxes 1-4, 1-2, 1-6
Race 7: (4) Rocket Time should be able to control the pace and ought to improve off that stakes debut last time out. Bourbon Courage is definitely the one to beat but he could come up short in the first start off a layoff. Exacta boxes 4-3, 4-5, 4-7
Race 8: (13) Undrafted has a bit of a class edge over these and trainer Wesley Ward excels with horses coming off this kind of layoff. Look for him to come flying late. Exacta boxes 13-10, 13-11, 13-12
Race 9: (6) Lovely Maria improved when she tried two turns and this could be an easier spot than challenging the likes of I'm a Chatterbox, which she did last time, with a bit of a wide trip. Exacta boxes 6-3, 6-4
Race 10: (5) Carpe Diem looks unbeatable here. He loves the track and his sophomore debut was sensational. Trying to find value underneath in an exacta with Frammento or Unrivaled. Exacta part-wheel 5 with 6,4
Race 11: (6) Roberta Turner races in the colors of Carpe Diem's co-owner, Stonestreet, and I'm guessing this one is well-meant for those connections on this day. Exacta boxes 6-4, 6-5, 6-7
All Stakes Pick 4: 4,3 with 13,10,11,12 with 6,3,4 with 5
All Stakes Pick 5: 1 with 4,3, with 13,10,11 with 6,3,4 with 5
