    Race 1

1a Self Starter is the 7-5 morning line favorite. He has made his first 2 starts over the turf but he is dropping in class. Works over the main track suggests he can handle these. #8 Calhoun is another moving from turf to dirt but he has started on the main track. Like him at this distance and Lopez is on board. #5 Miltee is dropping in class off his last and barn is hot.

This guy is 4 for 5 this year and expect him get his picture taken once again. #1 Slan Abhaile finished a close 2nd to Big Legacy in his last race and figures to run well again. #4 Stevis Man is another that loves to win races. He brings 4 wins in a row and could try to steal this one.

#1 Big Kick drops to a new low for his return off the layoff. Works are strong. #3 Gentleman’s Honor, we can throw out his last at Kentucky Downs. He obviously didn’t care for that track. His 2 previous efforts suggest he is a player with theses. #4 South to the Sea is making his 2nd off a brief freshener. Looks good for part.
