Galloping Out - The Great War pointed to Fall Highweight (G2); Harmonize works

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 29) – Coming off a fifth-place finish in the Stoll Keenon Ogden Phoenix (G2) on Oct. 7, The Great War scored a front-running victory in Friday’s second race. With Julio Garcia aboard for trainer Wesley Ward, The Great War won the 6½-furlong allowance race by a length in 1:15.79. Ward said the 4-year-old War Front colt, who races for Michael B. Tabor, Derrick Smith, Mrs. John Magnier and Allen Stable, is pointed at the six-furlong Fall Highweight (G2) at Aqueduct on Nov. 24.

Larkin Armstrong’s Harmonize, second in the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Presented by Lane’s End (G1) on Oct. 15, worked three furlongs in :37.40 Saturday.
