Keeneland’s jockey autograph signing on Thursday raised $2,000 for the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund, which provides financial assistance to some 60 former jockeys who suffered catastrophic on-track injuries. Retired jockeys who participated were Racing Hall of Famer Pat Day, Keeneland’s all-time leading rider by wins (918) and stakes wins (95), along with Hall of Famer Chris McCarron, Larry Melancon and Johnny Oldham. The current riding colony was represented by Robby Albarado, Calvin Borel, Jesus Castanon, David Cohen, Jon Court, Borja Fayos, Julio Garcia, James Graham, Corey Lanerie, Julien Leparoux, Paco Lopez, Rosie Napravnik, Marcelino Pedroza Jr., Gabriel Saez, Jeffrey Sanchez and Scott Spieth.
