Special Olympian Marlana Vanhoose at Keeneland

 Today, Keeneland welcomed Special Olympian Marlana Vanhoose to sing “My Old Kentucky Home” and the National Anthem. Vanhoose who is a student at Johnson Central High School in Eastern Kentucky was born blind and diagnosed with Cytomegalovirus.

Marlana has performed at many other events, including the University of Kentucky women’s basketball games, local baseball games, and would one day like to sing at the Bristol Motor Speedway.

Vanhoose was presented with a Julep Cup by Keeneland’s President and CEO Bill Thomason following her performance.
