Race 2

An objection was lodged by the rider of third place #3 “Peteizum” (Paco Lopez) alleging interference by the rider of second place #4 “Swaylon Braylon” (Didiel Osorio) near the 1/8 pole. After reviewing the films and interviewing the riders, the stewards determined that both horses began to angle in slightly from the ¼ pole, and #3 did not lack room inside of #4. Jockey Lopez made a decision to check his horse in order to position himself outside of #4. The objection was disallowed and the original order of finish was posted official.
