LEXINGTON, KY (Feb. 13, 2017) – Iliad, sold at Keeneland’s 2014 November Breeding Stock Sale as a weanling and again at the 2015 September Yearling Sale, stepped up with a decisive 3½-length victory in Sunday’s San Vicente (G2) at Santa Anita to establish himself as a notable contender on the Road to the Kentucky Derby (G1).
