Keeneland September Sale Graduates Dominate Grade 1 Juvenile Stakes

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 3, 2013) – Graduates of Keeneland’s 2012 September Yearling Sale turned in spectacular performances to win the holiday weekend’s Grade 1 juvenile stakes – Strong Mandate, a 9¾-length romp in the Hopeful Stakes; Sweet Reason, a 5¾-length winner of the Spinaway Stakes; and She’s a Tiger, who powered home to win the Del Mar Debutante. Two other graduates of the class of 2012 headlined the weekend – Dunkin Bend took the Sapling Stakes (G3) and Great White Eagle captured the Curragh’s Go and Go Round Tower Stakes (G3).

Ninety-one September Sales graduates have won graded/group stakes to date in 2013, highlighted by 29 Grade/Group 1 stakes winners.
