Keeneland September Sale Graduates Unique Bella, El Areeb and Royal Mo Shine in Classic Preps

LEXINGTON, KY (Feb. 6, 2017) – Graduates of Keeneland’s 2015 September Yearling Sale –Unique BellaEl Areeb and Royal Mo – turned in exciting performances in their respective preps this weekend to move up the leaderboards on the Roads to the Kentucky Derby (G1) and Kentucky Oaks (G1).

Hailed as racing’s newest superstar, Unique Bella cruised to an 8¾-length win in Sunday’s Las Virgenes (G2) at Santa Anita to establish herself among the top point earners on the Road to the Kentucky Oaks. On Saturday, El Areeb won the Withers (G3) at Aqueduct by 4¼ lengths under a hand ride while Royal Mo was a front-running winner of the Robert B. Lewis (G3) at Santa Anita. With his victory in the Withers, El Areeb vaulted to second place on the Road to the Kentucky Derby leaderboard and Royal Mo moved into the top 15 point earners.
