Keeneland September Sale Graduates West Coast, It Tiz Well Become Millionaires with Grade 1 Wins

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 25, 2017) – West Coast and It Tiz Well, both graduates of Keeneland’s 2015 September Yearling Sale, became millionaires with respective wins in the Pennsylvania Derby (G1) and Cotillion (G1) at Parx Racing on Saturday.

West Coast’s 7¼-length romp in the Pennsylvania Derby marked his fifth consecutive win and followed his breakout victory in the Travers Presented by NYRA Bets (G1) at Saratoga in August. 

It Tiz Well defeated fellow September Sale alumnus and favored Abel Tasman by two lengths in the Cotillion. It Tiz Well won the Delaware Oaks (G3) at Delaware Park in July.
