The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA) created the Sales Integrity Program to aid owners and breeders in making informed decisions at public auction.
The Sales Integrity Program provides the educational resources with which to inform buyers about the auction process so they may feel confident they are being treated fairly.
At the same time, the program recognizes that the interests of all parties involved -- consignors, agents, breeders, veterinarians, trainers, sale companies and horses -- need to be protected and that the Thoroughbred auction process inherently involves risks for all concerned.
We encourage buyers, and particularly new investors, to utilize this valuable resource.
