Champion Jackie’s Warrior Leads Keeneland Sales Graduates Competing in Graded Stakes Company on Friday at Belmont

Keeneland sales graduates, among them reigning champion male sprinter Jackie’s Warrior and graded stakes winners Family Way, Abaan and Glass Ceiling, are featured in graded stakes on Thursday and Friday as part of the three-day Belmont Stakes Racing Festival at Belmont Park.

On Friday, Jackie’s Warrior, winner of the Count Fleet Sprint (G3) and Churchill Downs (G1) in as many starts this season, headlines the True North (G2). 

On the same card, Family Way, winner of the Orchid (G3) and runner-up in The Very One (G3) and Bewitch (G3) in three starts this year, highlights the New York (G1). Other standouts include W. L. McKnight (G3) winner Abaan in the Belmont Gold Cup (G2); Glass Ceiling, who counts the Barbara Fritchie (G3) and Distaff (G3) among her four consecutive wins, in the Bed o’ Roses (G2); and recent License Fee Stakes (L) winner Miss J McKay in the Intercontinental (G3).
