A hearty stew of beef, potatoes and vegetables, burgoo is as rich in history as horse racing in Kentucky. Quintessential Keeneland.

3. Corned Beef Sandwich or Reuben
The Paddock Carvery has your meat craving covered with classic Corned Beef and Reuben sandwiches. A Keeneland specialty, the signature corned beef is house cured and prepared, slow roasted, hand sliced and sandwiches are made to order.

4. Salads, Wraps and Sandwiches
Maybe you prefer lighter fare or vegetarian options. Fresh Express offers an array of salads – Greek Vegetarian, Grilled Chicken Garden and Keeneland Cobb – and sandwiches such as the Chicken Salad Sandwich on a Brioche Bun, Turkey and Swiss or Ham and Cheese wraps, soups, fresh fruit and more.

5. Keeneland Nachos
Pile it on! Keeneland Nachos have it all: corn nachos, brisket, beer cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, Carolina BBQ Sauce and jalapeños.
Beer cheese is a quirky Kentucky specialty with its own festival and legions of fans in this state, and is said to have originated in nearby Winchester. Everyone claims his or her own recipe, but we think ours is best. Pair Keeneland Nachos with the traditional Yuengling Lager (see below).

6. Keeneland Donuts
Get an early start to the race day … come out for morning works! Horses train on the main track every morning from 6-10 a.m. Hang out with the trainers at Clockers Corner, where you can snag a cup of coffee and one of Keeneland’s donuts.

Wait a minute. Greek food at Keeneland? Yes! Offering Greek salads and gyros, find hidden gems worth discovering off the beaten path. You won’t be disappointed.

8. Brown Butter Kettle Corn
Keeneland’s own take on sweet kettle corn, popped in brown butter for a yummy caramel flavor. And for those with a real sweet tooth, go one step further … a kettle corn sundae! – Soft serve ice cream covered with Brown Butter Kettle Corn and drizzled with caramel.
Where to find it: Brown Butter Kettle Corn is sold trackside on the first floor Grandstand in our Kettle Corn stand across from the finish line. Sundaes are sold at Ice Cream/Popcorn on the second and third floor Grandstand.
9. Craft Beer
Keeneland is in on the craft beer craze, showcasing a selection of national and Kentucky brews including Sierra Nevada, Country Boy Brewing, Yuengling, Goose Island and more.

10. Buffalo Bow Tie
Enjoy this cocktail that features Buffalo Trace bourbon along with peach syrup and ginger ale.
Where to find it: Clockers Corner, Equestrian Bar or Winner’s Circle Bar on the first floor Grandstand; Sports Bar, 16th Pole Bar or Mezzanine on the second floor; Finish Line Bar or Alydar Bar on the third floor.
11. Keeneland Breeze Truffle
Milk chocolate tones down the sweetness of a creamy orange center filled with the flavors of Maker’s Mark bourbon and orange liqueur.
Where to find it: The Keeneland Shop, located adjacent to the South Gate entrance.
12. Keeneland Lemonade
Tito’s Handmade Vodka is the centerpiece of this cocktail with fresh strawberry, lemonade and Sprite. For every drink sold during the Fall Meet, Keeneland will make a $1 donation to Racetrack Chaplaincy of America.
Where to find it: Tito’s Bar, located first floor of the Grandstand near the Finish Line.
13. Lunch Specials
Check out $1 hot dogs and half-priced beers available at concession stands from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. every Wednesday and Thursday during the Spring Meet Meet. (Offer applies to 16 oz. domestic beers and excludes gourmet hot dogs).
