Keeneland-Sold Concrete Rose Wins Grade 3 Florida Oaks; Espresso Shot Secures Kentucky Oaks Berth with Busher Victory

Keeneland sales graduates Concrete Rose and Espresso Shot enhanced their records with significant wins Saturday.

Concrete Rose, winner of last fall’s JPMorgan Chase Jessamine (G2) at Keeneland, won her sophomore debut with a strong performance in the Florida Oaks (G3) at Tampa Bay Downs. Espresso Shot, sold as a yearling at the 2017 January Horses of All Ages Sale, captured the Busher Stakes at Aqueduct to earn 50 points and a fourth-place ranking on the Road to the Kentucky Oaks (G1).
