Season includes NBC Sports Network’s live coverage of $1 million Toyota Blue Grass
Keeneland will present a new race-day preview show called “Today at Keeneland” during its 2018 Spring Meet that opens Friday.
A 30-minute program beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET, “Today at Keeneland” will preview the day’s card for on-track and simulcast patrons, including viewers on Keeneland.com and Keeneland Select, and include handicapping picks and discussion of horses of interest. The show will be hosted by Keeneland handicappers Katie Gensler and Jesse Ullery, who both also will serve as Paddock Hosts during the afternoon races.
“Today at Keeneland” will be based at Wagering Central on the first floor Grandstand, where fans are welcome to watch the live program.
“Today at Keeneland” replaces the track’s former replay show of the same name and takes the place of the trackside handicapping seminar offered Saturday mornings during the race meet as part of Sunrise Trackside.
Keeneland’s 16-day Spring Meet concludes Friday, April 27, with racing Wednesday through Sunday. Post time for the first race each day is 1:05 p.m.
On Saturday, April 7, NBC Sports Network will have a live national broadcast of Keeneland’s $1 million Toyota Blue Grass (G2), a major prep for the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve (G1), along with the Wood Memorial (G2) from Aqueduct and the Santa Anita Derby (G1) from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Post time for the Toyota Blue Grass is 6:23 p.m.
Replays of Keeneland races are available at no charge at Keeneland.com/racing/race-replay and on the Keeneland Race Day App.
