Trained by Chad Brown and ridden by Irad Ortiz Jr., Pocket Square covered the 1 1/16 miles over a turf course rated as good in 1:41.17.

A Group 3 winner in France as a 2-year-old, Pocket Square raced near the rear echelon of 11 starters in the run down the backstretch, swung to the outside entering the stretch and surged past the frontrunners approaching the sixteenth pole.

Pocket Square is a 4-year-old daughter of Night of Thunder (IRE) out of the Dansili (GB) mare Shared Account (GB). The victory was worth $34,440 and boosted her earnings to $88,505 with a record of 5-3-0-1.

Sent off as the favorite in the field of 11, Pocket Square returned $6, $3.20 and $3. Tuned, ridden by Joel Rosario, paid $3.40 and $2.60 finished a neck ahead of Choate Bridge, who paid $9.60 to show under Corey Lanerie.

Racing resumes Thursday with a nine-race program that begins at 1:05 p.m. ET.
