Oaks Day


  • General admission and parking are free.
  • Gates open at 9:00 a.m.
  • Oaks post time approximately 6:12 p.m.
  • Mutuel windows in the grandstand open at 10:00 a.m. Drive-thru wagering available 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., located behind the Entertainment Center.
  • Party in the Paddock from 4-7 p.m., featuring drink specials and live music.

Patrons are permitted to picnic inside the grandstand area for this event.

Enjoy brunch from the picturesque Keeneland Clubhouse Lawn while sipping on cocktails and listening to live music. The Oaks Brunch on the Lawn offers gourmet twists on traditional brunch dishes, thoughtfully prepared by Keeneland's Executive Chef Marc Therrien.

Derby Day


Enjoy the world's biggest Derby Party! With over 1,000 televisions, easy access to wagering, great food, kids activities and more, Keeneland is the perfect place to watch the Run for the Roses.

  • General admission is $5 and parking is free.
  • Gates open at 9:00 a.m.
  • Derby Post time is approximately 6:50 p.m.
  • Patrons are permitted to picnic inside the grandstand area for this event.
  • Mutuel windows in the grandstand open at 10:00 a.m. Drive-thru wagering opens at 7:00 a.m. – Derby post time, located behind the Entertainment Center.

Deby Day activities include:

  • Live music in the Paddock brought to you by BUD LIGHT.
  • Children's activities presented by the Keeneland Kids Club
  • Derby Hat Contest

Things to Know Before You Visit


  • On Oaks and Derby, patrons are permitted to picnic inside the grandstand area. Coolers are permitted, but are subject to inspection.
  • Patrons may bring foldable tables and chairs, to be used in general admission areas of the Paddock and grandstand areas.
  • Alcohol, tents and canopies, grills, glass and pets are not permitted inside the admission gates.
  • All bags are subject to inspection at the Admission Gate. Traditional backpacks and book bags are not permitted. Guests may bring strollers, diaper bags, camera bags and purses/pocket books at Keeneland's discretion.
  • Keeneland is accessible to patrons with disabilities. Please call the ticketing office at (859) 288-4299 for more information.
  • Fans may notice additional security when entering Keeneland's admission gates. Patrons will be asked to open their coats or jackets for visual inspection, and soft checks will be performed on any bags. You may be asked to return traditional backpacks to your car.
  • Only trained service animals are permitted inside the gates. Service animals will not be permitted inside the Paddock or Walking Ring, due to the safety of our horses.
  • Firearms and weapons are not allowed within the race track gates, regardless of a CCDW permit.
