Please note – if a horse is consigned by an agent, the agent is responsible for supplying all necessary documents (forms, certificates, test results, etc.) to Keeneland pursuant to the consignor’s contract.  We appreciate your cooperation with this.

Breeders’ Cup, EBF and State-bred nominations due into their respective offices in order to appear in the sales catalogue

Nov. 4

NTRA contribution lists in Sales Office 

Nov. 5

Property line changes in Sales Office

Final withdrawal for horses not to appear in catalogue (second $500 entry fee waived)

Nov. 7

Racing updates (races that run after this date will not appear in catalogue)

Nov. 8

Proof page changes in Sales Office 

Nov. 11

Consignors’ client lists for catalogue mailing

Dec. 1 

Original Coggins certificates in Sales Office ($100 penalty per horse will apply after this date)

EVA results must be dated within 90 days of horses’ sale date in Sales Office. Recommended blood pull Oct. 25 – Nov. 10, 2021. ($100 penalty per horse will apply after this date)

Paper Registration certificates in Sales Office or assigned digitally to Keeneland ($100 penalty per horse will apply after this date)

Stallion service certificates in Sales Office or released electronically ($100 penalty per horse will apply after this date)

 Consignor’s Authorized Agent form in Sales Office ($100 penalty per property line will apply after this date)

 REMINDER: All broodmares or broodmare prospects must have a veterinary certificate on file stating "pregnant" or "suitable for mating." Veterinary certificates must be dated within 10 days of selling date.

Health Certificates are required in our office for all horses before they can sell.
