Keeneland Sales Graduates Perfect 10-For-10 in North American Grade 1 Stakes this Weekend

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 10, 2016) – Keeneland sales graduates swept all 10 Grade 1 stakes held in North America this weekend: Lady Eli (Flower Bowl), Hoppertunity (Jockey Club Gold Cup), Miss Temple City (Shadwell Turf Mile), Classic Empire (Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity), Practical Joke (Champagne), I’m a Chatterbox (Juddmonte Spinster), Photo Call (IRE) (First Lady), Dancing Rags (Darley Alcibiades), Yellow Agate (Frizette) and Lord Nelson (Santa Anita Sprint Championship).

Lady Eli is cataloged in Keeneland’s November Breeding Stock Sale which begins Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Eight of those Grade 1 winners – Dancing Rags (14 Hands Winery Juvenile Fillies-G1), Lady Eli (Filly and Mare Turf-G1), Practical Joke (Sentient Jet Juvenile-G1), Hoppertunity (Classic-G1), Classic Empire (Sentient Jet Juvenile), Miss Temple City (Mile-G1), Lord Nelson (TwinSpires Sprint-G1) and I’m a Chatterbox (Distaff-G1) – earned automatic berths into the Breeders’ Cup World Championships Nov. 4-5 at Santa Anita.
