Keeneland September Sale Alumni Sweep Three Classic Preps

LEXINGTON, KY (March 27, 2017) – Arrogate, purchased by owner Juddmonte Farms at Keeneland’s 2014 September Yearling Sale, boosted his career earnings to more than $17 million with his stunning rally from last to win the $10 million Dubai World Cup (G1) at Meydan on Saturday to become the richest North American Thoroughbred in racing history. Additionally on Dubai World Cup Day at Meydan, Keeneland sales graduates Mind Your Biscuits and Second Summer won the Dubai Golden Shaheen (G1) and Godolphin Mile (G2), respectively.

Keeneland is the only North American sales company to have sold winners of stakes on Dubai World Cup Day.

Keeneland sales graduates won three classic preps in the U.S. this weekend. At Turfway on Saturday, Fast and Accurate was an upset winner of the JACK Cincinnati Casino Spiral (G3), a prep for the Kentucky Derby (G1), while Purely a Dream won her season debut in the Bourbonette Oaks (G3), a prep on the Road to the Kentucky Oaks (G1). On Sunday, Ghalia remained undefeated in winning the Sunland Park Oaks and with it earning points on the Kentucky Oaks leaderboard.
